So I've been a collector for awhile, but recently started looking on eBay a few months ago to grab some of the older series vinyls. My very first vinylmation purchase at the parks was the Urban #1 El Super Raton (which honestly at the time I was not thrilled with). However over the months following and after I had started a decent collection, I began to really like the design compared to lots of the urban figure out there.
Anyway, I had been searching eBay for more older series and found out that El Super Raton was consistently selling for a great deal of money compared to other figures in the same series, and it's not even the chaser. I understand now that obviously some designs are more popular than others, but I was wondering if there was something specific about El Super Raton that made it more valuable? I'm not interested in selling it, just overall curious. Is it because of the artist? Or just because it's more popular? Is it portraying a specific Mexican wrestler that in not familiar with?
