Other than VM, what is your favorite Disneyland souvenir or merchandise?

I collect quite possibly, the least expensive souvenier available at the parks (individually purchased, not as a whole collection) smashed pennies! I've started collecting them since I was a little girl. I have at least 2 full Disney pressed penny books and am waiting eagerly for a new and super cute pressed penny book design as my other two books are full .

Mouse ears! I get one on every trip. And anything they release during Halloween/Christmas that is related to Nightmare before Christmas/ Haunted Mansion. Like the hot chocolate cups or popcorn buckets.

I love buying and trading pins. When I was younger I used to be obsessed with the pressed penny machines, I still love 'em. I think they make a great cheap little souvenir. I'm also a sucker for plush. I heart Bolt.

Same here!! (Pressed coins) My first visit to DLR was in 2005 and have been going atleast once a year with my GF since (Well now she's my wife) . . . Quick question . . . The penny press . . . do they change this every year because evrytime I go I swear I see a quite a few different ones that I have not seen the year before.

Back when I was little, I remember always going down a little alley (I think off main street?) and getting root beer floats, in fun tall plastic clear mugs with mickey on them.

Is that place even still around? You'll have to forgive me, as my memory of where and what it actually looked like is very vague... And we rarely go to Disneyland anymore, as Disney World is much closer.

Anyways, we still have those mugs! They were fun to keep after having a delicious root beer float.

Same here! In fact, collecting mouse ears led me to Vinylmation. We got the hat-boxed Tron & Mouseketeers 50th, then when I saw the ear hat/vinylmation combos it eventually led here.

I recently started collecting attraction posters. Other than that what I collect from parks is usually shirts or random items here and there.

I like the star wars/muppet items and also started collecting disney bathtoys like the starwars ones that look super deformed. I've been collecting smashed pennies for a while but have never gotten one from the parks. Maybe I should stop focusing on collecting fass passes so much.

I collect Disney Wall Park maps. I have a '79 magic kingdom,and '70 disneyland, and a 200ish Tokyo Disney Sea. And anything disney

We collect and trade pins and that's always a ton of fun.

My favorite souviner though are the character autographs that we collected when my kids were younger. We have have pictures of each child with the respective character mounted in an album beside each autograph. We have an album for each child for each of four trips so you can see the kids grow up as you progress through the albums.
