Do you know THE GOAT TRICK!??

I was taught "The Goat Trick" many years ago by some kids as me and my wife waited in line for Big Thunder Mountain.

To do the Goat Trick, request the rear train car.

As the train goes up the big hill (the one with the little tortoises) and gets to the top, you will see a goat chewing on a stick of dynamite.



The minute you see the goat... KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE GOAT!

As you go around the curve, you will feel like you are going TWICE AS FAST - the optical illusion makes everything feel breathtakingly fast!

On your next trip to Disneyland, remember to KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE GOAT!!

you don't have to be in the last train car to feel the effect. you can be in any of them except the front and the centrifugal force pushes you to the other side of the cart, keeping you from moving, like your pinned down.

My friends and I used to have this huge obsession with the goat back in the day. Never tried that trick, will be sure to do so next time

I always do this trick whenever I ride BTMR. All I can say is that this trick works. It makes you feel like your stomach is in knots after the turn. Feels great!

I remember the first time I went on BTMRR! This was last September I think (I was a big chicken when it came to roller coasters of all kind until then) and I loved it so much I went on about 4 or 5 times in a row since the lines were crazy short and the CM kept count of how many times I hopped back in line right afterward and ended up giving me the tip I think on round #4. I do it every time now, lol. That and I ask for row 15 all the time.

not really just turning your head..

turn your whole body so its facing the goat around the entire turn and dont stop looking at it. you will experience g-force and your body will quickly shift to the left of the cart. if you are in the left seat and the person on the right does this they will jet over and squish you against the side lol. its really fun i have to remember to sit on the left so i dont crush my gf. being in the very back seat will give you the greatest effect as you get the full force of the accelerated turn, its really fun an a must for that ride

I don't think it works out there. I am pretty sure it is a west coast thang.
