Disney Outlet Stores Thread

I looked up the search function, and didn't see anything particular like this. I was wondering, what stores are actually getting VM's? My closest store does not carry any VM's, and only VM apparel, but I missed out on the CYO sale that supposedly went to the outlets, as well as the now 9'' figures. Any thoughts by people in the different areas?

If there are sales in your local Disney Outlet store, please do post the area/mall and the state CLEARLY, so we can keep an up-to-date thing going on.

It never occurred to me that the Outlets may carry VM. I may have to take a short drive tomorrow and find out if my closest one is carrying them, or not. Yeah, I could call, but I like the adventure of driving out there.

Do you mean the 3" & 9" CYO or something else?
Another member mentioned they saw Urban 4 or Urban 5 9" at one of the outlets.

The disney outlet in the outlet mall here in orlando has VMs, the older less popular ones but they are half price and make great traders. They also have mystery boxes and clear boxes for trading!!!

Arrowhead Town Center in Glendale, AZ had a bunch of the CYO 9" and 3" on clearance, so it isn't just the outlets. I know that Fashion Valley in San Diego sent their clearance to the outlet in Las Americas if anyone is willing to drive all the way down there.

EDIT: By the way, no, Fashion Valley did not send theirs to Las Americas. They sent theirs to the Arizona store that you had mentioned. I called Las Americas, and they did not have any vinyls still, as of last week.

I think this is a great idea as well, sk1p2my1u, as it would probably do some good to have an outlet store thread seperate from the regular disney stores thread


And sorry if this is a lame question, but are outlet stores the same as the 'character warehouse' stores? I remembered a few members were going to add those to the other list we have, but a member pointed out they were different than regular stores:

Please keep in mind that any Character Warehouse stores are not part of the Disney Stores, inc. brand. These stores are part of Walt Disney World Resorts as they carry the discontinued product from the theme parks, but also do sell a selection of regular items that have not been discontinued. Our local ones here in Orlando also have Vinylmation, but it is the same selection that you find in the theme parks, so at this time they do not have Toy Story. For those locations you may want to keep on a seperate list, as they are not the ones you are trying to really create a list of from what I have read.

So are they the same as outlet stores?

If you want to add stores that don't have Vinylmation, the Discover Mills Disney Outlet (Duluth, GA) doesn't have Vinylmation...bummer because it is about 5 minutes from my work.

They have the 9" & 3" CYO, Muppets 1, HAL and Park 3.
They have both trading boxes (mystery and clear) and the CM they are expecting to start carrying the regular 9" that do not sell well at the park.

The Outlet at Arizona Mills in Tempe, AZ doesnt have any VMs. I went today hoping to get a sushi like other members had.

They also had 9" Urban 4's on clearance, which came out to $19.99 and $40 for the 9/3". They currently do not carry any other vinyls, but maybe they will in the future. They also had the Disney 3" official Vinylmation case for $40.00.

No, they didn't. I've talked to the DM, the manager, and a few other CM's at Fashion Valley at this point, and they shipped them north, I think they said Monticello, or something like that. Not quite sure. But I know they definitely didn't send them to Las Americas. We drove down there like 4 times the last week and a half, and they have nothing.

thats my store :p but dont hold your breath on the trading boxes. they never have anything good.

I like this new thread for the outlet stores. Has anyone called the outlet store in WI? That is the closest outlet mall to me and was just wondering. It's still about 6 hours away though. I'll be about an hour away later this week and may stop by.

40.00 bucks is a deal and I wouldn't mind having a couple. I wonder if there are any at the Orlando outlet, does anyone know by chance?

Went to this Disney Outlet Store yesterday.... they only had Red, Yellow, and Purple CYO 9' and only Red for CYO 3'. The white ones were already gone. They did received shipment of BigEyes with a clearance price of $4.99. They only had Grumpy, Marie, and Goofy in stock for that. Urban 4 9' 4-5 of each design except for sushi. I bought the last one yesterday. They don't know when they will received new shipment since the VM they recently received were only transfers from another outlet store... so not really directly from DLR.

I talked to a cast member as well and they told me Las Americas. Do you mean Montebello? In which case, why would one IP store send their vinyls to another IP store. Doesn't make any sense. Regular stores send cleranace to outlets.
