We eat here every trip for the atmosphere! The food is OK, although I do love the shakes. Everytime 'The Cat That Hates Everybody' comes on we get so excited.
My little sister still has her glow in the dark cup she got with her meal when we ate there over 10 years ago.

I dined here for the first time in July and it was a very cool experience. My wife enjoyed it alot and it got my inlaws jealous when we told them about it. The food was so-so but it was not anything that I would not do again. You have to get a milkshake though..!!!
I always go to the 50's Prime Time, but I love the look of the theming so although the food looks to be just ok, I am still going to try next time were out here

We ate here the week after Thanksgiving. I agree the service was slow and my chicken sandwich was almost uneatable. I think it was the cut of chicken rather then the way it was cooked. Next time I'll just get a burger if we go back. I liked the atmosphere and we really only went so JT could get the picnic burger. Unless I'm begged I can pass on this place.
I agree the Chicken Sandwich is not the greatest, but the atmosphere makes it better!
I loved the atmosphere, but I wish there were a few more menu options. The car also felt a little too small at times.

My favorite place to eat at Hollywood Studios...love the cheesy 50's movie clips
Love the milk shakes. The atmosphere is great. The food is average never had anything great. Food never seems to be hot, warm at best.
I can say I love the place. Not really for the food, but like others stated, the atmosphere. It's so cool sitting in a car with family and friends and watching some movie trailers. I love how they give it an evening/twilight feel. The food is ok, but I don't really head down to WDW to eat great. The food is average, along with service. For a first timer, this spot can't be missed!
I had a bad experience with this place. For starters you definitely don't go here for the food its the atmosphere like people have said above me. But they messed up our reservation and we had to wait an extra hourTo top everything off they messed up my order and it was just a nightmare at that point. But if these two screw up did not happen I'm sure it would have been an otherwise swell time
I went in here once and was not thrilled. It smelled quite bad and the service was not good at all (nobody asking to seat us).. That was probably 4 years ago though, and have never went here again. Maybe we will try it again in the future though..?
The atmosphere is amazing, I had the steak (not that great) but the milk shakes are fantastic!
I will be going there in two weeks! I will try a milkshake!
Our son picked this restaurant to try on our upcoming trip because you can sit in cars and watch movie trailers.I'll have to let everyone know wha we think of the experience this fall. (I already know my menu choices will be limited due to food allergies, as they are at most of the sit down order off a menu type restuarants atWDW)
This is one of my favorite places to eat. The theming is great and I enjoyed the food. I got a bowl of chili and a cherry coke and they were both amazing.
We ate there in January, had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger & Vanilla Coke. Burger was okay, not great, not bad. The atmosphere was cool my biggest complait was being seated next to a loud mouth woman who was complaining that there was nothing there for a vegan and how unhappy she was. I just wonder why a vegan would go to a Burger place?
I don't know. Maybe, the fact that WDW prides themselves in being very accomodating to dietary restrictions and at some locations that = very limited choices. I try to look at menus online when we make our reservations so I know ahead of time how limited I will be. This is a challenge wherever we go, Disney or otherwise.
IE: I am allergic to Soy and I have several other food allergies (and so does one of my children). Mind you, I never asked to be allergic to foods, this was never my "Choice" as someone who chose Veganism, or Palio diet or whatever. I can tell you that all bread products at WDW contain soy flour, so I am always offered a Gluten free, Soy Free Rice Roll - which are very dry and crumbly. I cannot add Mayo or dressings to the sandwiches because quess what the first ingredient is in almost every one that they offer - soy bean oil, including the BBQ sauce you listed above. Almost every frying surface is sprayed with Soy Lechitin (cooking spray). Some restaurants, will clean a section of the grill and others won't. Oh and don't even get me started about the desserts --- um, well they have vanilla ice cream. That's it. Some restaurants will offer a vegan allergy free brownie, made of rice flour, it's ok, but 2 or 3 meals of that and you'd be wishing you didn't have allergies and wonder why on earth couldn't they at least have 2 different desserts. OR better yet just use good old wheat flour, since no one is allergic to gluten in my family (with a palm oil shortening or real butter).
I'm not sure what I will be able to eat but my son is excited to experience the atmosphere unique to this restaurant and for that I am excited.
Definitely stopping here on our August trip. Don't even remember what I ate last time a few years ago, but my daughter and I love the atmosphere.

We love the atmosphere but this last time in June the food was not so good! We got sandwiches but before we ave gotten the steak and that was great. I guess maybe we just picked the wrong choice this past time! Te movie is great!
We read really bad reviews about this restaurant and decided not to make reservations there on our recent trip but apparently that was a mistake and next time we will definitely have to check it out.
