    Ok, so it took me a few months but I've FINALLY just finished A Touch of Dead. It was ok. It's definitely a little jarring trying to figure out at which point in the series each story took place. The last story was kind of lame. Really???? Her great-grandfather got her laid for Christmas??? They were also kind of forgetable. In fact other than the last two that I just read in the last two days, all I remember is there's one with Eric and Dracula. Alright CH, I'm ready for another full-length book!!!

    10 day, 10 books. That's what holidays are made for! Dead to the world was my favourite book. All the physical books I had fell apart because of the heat so I need to buy the first 4 books again.

    I'm glad that the TV series is quite different, it made reading the books more enjoyable.

    I'm also a team Eric convert, so's my cousin, we were both unimpressed with Bill in the books.

    Anyone know when the next book is out?

    I'm not sure if they've announced another book yet, but I'm sure there will be eventually.

    They now have a comic book series out, but I'm not sure if it's original stories or if they go along with the books or TV show.

    Wikipedia (god bless it) mentions that she's signed for 3 more books, not sure whether it's true or not. It would be nice, I found book 10 left too many loose ends.

    Yeah, book 10 wasn't my favorite. I think it was a little anticlimatic compared to most. I hope that is true! I'd definitely dig 3 or more books!

    Um, this is an amazing series. I really REALLY love boks 1-6 or 7, and then the last few books have still been good but not AMAZING. Four is my favorite ;)

    Book 11, Dead Reckoning, is slated for a May 2011 release (all the main series books come out in May). There was recently (August) another short story similar to those found in A Touch of Dead - that makes 3 shorts total that were not in that compilation.
    I keep them all in order to help with the timeline of the shorts. The newest short (Two Blondes) takes place after book 10. The two blondes are Sookie and Pam.

    Do you recommend reading the shorts? I'm a bit confused about how they work and what order etc, also what's the best way to get hold of them? Is there one book with them all or do you have to buy the books or can I get them online? So many questions!!! Sorry

    Has anybody been reading the graphic novel TB series? I'm just wondering if it's more like the books or the TV show or if it just goes out on its own?
