    Figaro Fries are gone!

    Here's the story...

Me and my sister went to MK on Tuesday for the "American Story" program (at 7:00AM. Ugh!). Afterward we were tired, sweaty and hungry so we decided to eat at Pinocchio Village Haus and get our favorite thing there, Figaro Fries (considering we haven't have them in years).

Figaro Fries are french fries with cheese, lettuce, (maybe tomato, can't remember), bacon and ranch dressing.

So we get there to find out that not only did they get rid of burgers, but they also got rid of Figaro Fries!! I'm so mad!

I know I can make them at home, but its not the same. I really miss them.

For those of you who are wondering what they now serve, they have pizza, chicken nuggests, a caesar salad and a mediterranean salad. We had the caesar salad. It was O.K. and nothing more.

    ~PS~
    (I'm still mad )

I've never had them. In fact, I've never heard of them... They sound good. Well, except for the bacon, tomato and ranch dressing....hm, maybe I should just stick to cheese fries.

I wonder if this is part of Disney's whole "providing healthier foods" thing. I don't mind them providing heathier alternatives, but I don't think they should replace the "bad" stuff. People obviously enjoy this kind of stuff and it's everyone's own personal decision as to what they want to eat.

Not the same though cause I sipped coffee from in IN New Orleans so that made it extra special.

I guess I take that kind of stuff for granted. I know Blake's GF lives in Pittsburg and she always hits up CDM when she's down. I never realized how much of an "attraction" it is for the area.

Anyway, didn't mean to hijack the thread.... Sorry.

Yeah the Pinocchio menu has been changed for a while now. Personally I really miss the Italian sandwiches that they use to have. The current pizzas on the menu are very small and not really worth it. Plus Disney isn't exactly known for having delicious pizza.

You mean like that feeling you get when you sit down with a carton of ice cream to just eat a "few" bites until to start think about all of the mean kids who're picking on you and that cute boy who'll never know you even exist and before you know it, you've hit the bottom of the carton and the only thing that's left is your spoon and a small puddle of your own tears? ............

Nope. I too often cry over the cute boys that never notice me. I blame it on the Figaro Fries.

Seriously, all of these "healthier" food options are really making me . The really aren't providind healty "options" because they're getting rid of all the OTHER choices. So, if everything you're carrying is meant to be healthy, then how are you providing "options" to anyone!?

Yeah, stick to cheese fries. Disney food is to expensive to dislike. Hahaha.

Anywho, I agree with the heath food thing. Though its good to have healthy alternatives, why can't they make them healthyish and yummy too? Kids who come to Disney want Mickey Bar's, not grapes.

I went on allears.net before we went to MK to make sure the fries were still on the menu. It said they were and the menu was updated recently(ish) so I didn't worry about it.

Finally, I can sleep better at night. Not sure what Pinocchio had against me.

I suggest that a "Cleo" Fish sandwich be added to the menu!!!
