really don't like to think of d-land and negative in the same sentence, however a few staff members at cafe orleans made what is normally a 45 min lunch and great time to simply relax, a bad experience... horrible service, arrogant attitude by server, et cetera... anyway, other than this one afternoon this is the spot

Hi all! It's been a LONG time since I posted on the forum. Got so busy with school and my new job, but want to get back into a bit.

MY worst experience at Disneyland? I remember, I think it was last Halloween time, walking around with my step-sister near Rivers of America as they were getting ready for Fantasmic, and the ushers were ushering people away from the 'roped area' near the water, saying to not go under the rope. Obviously not every single person could hear this lady over the huge crowd and all the chaos for people getting ready for the show. Three teenagers crawled under the rope (not trying to be sneaky) and the lady FLIPPED OUT! It was seriously like the last straw with her. She just burst out yelling "STOP IT! I SAID DONT GO UNDER THAT ROOOPPEEE!!!!!" I swear I saw her head do an exorcist 360 spin. I mean, I get it... things get frustrating. You're working for Disney though, so if you don't expect to ever get in the middle of an overwhelming crowd that is hard to control, or if you don't think you can keep yourself from going psycho on customers, you should probably not even apply...

I never really have a worst experience. But one thing that bugged me though is a couple of years ago we went on Pirates of the Caribbean. The people right in front of us had glowsticks flashing off and on which was really annoying when we went down the big drop.

One day I went to C.A Adventure and I went to Grizzly River Run and it was closed but a cast member said the ride would be open in a hour so we went to the Golden Zephyr and right when we where going on the ride it closed also. Then we went to California Screamin' and it was closed and we where walking back to Grizzly River Run and it 2 to 2 and a half hours and fastpass was 15 min. I was so MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, it wasn't that bad. I was there with him. GRR was a 1 1/2 hour wait and just to get a Fast Pass was 15 min long... Pretty obnoxious right...

15 minutes is a little long for me and my friends. bahahahaah you can say that sort of thing when you live so close. I know people from around the country reading this must hate me. I realize how lucky I am to live where I live and I am thankful for it every day.

My worst most traumatizing Disneyland experience wasn't because of staff or ride. It had nothing to do with the parks. It was the summer year after I graduated high school and this was going to be our senior trip. I was so excited to ride all the rides and watch all the shows and parades. We had gone in a large group and happened to get separated. It just so happened that the 'friends' I was with didn't want to do ANYTHING!! They said how most of the rides were lame and just wanted to sleep at the hotel. Worst of all they made me miss the fireworks and Fantasmic, saying they were nothing special. NOTHING SPECIAL?! You spend all this money on a trip and you don't wanna do anything?! I was in tears as we left the park because I was at the happiest place on Earth and I missed all the happy things!! Needless to say, we no longer keep in touch and I go to DLR with people who know how to enjoy the park.

There was one other instance where it was grad night at DLR and my cousin and I were watching Fantasmic. It was packed and there were some rude high schoolers yelling and making rude, unnecessary commentary during the show RIGHT BEHIND ME. I kept turning around and made strong eye contact with these boys. I understand it's their grad night, but please be courteous to other visitors! They weren't the only ones in the park at that time.

The worst Disney experience was something that happened to me while in the park. I was walking through Adventureland, when a guy in a wheelchair slams into my calf, leaving a giant bruise, and a bad cut. It took like a month to heal. He didn't even say sorry!

Wow, that stinks. It was likely his last act as Goofy.

Wow, that's pretty rotten. I have to agree with Phylers- it was probably his last act as Goofy.

I went to Disneyland with a person in a wheelchair for the first time. We had quite a few rude cast members. I understand they get frustrated with people who try to fake being in a wheelchair just so they can get front of the line, but it sucks for those who are not faking it and get treated as if they are. We brought a Dr. note to rent a wheelchair just in case we had any issues lol. When we went to go complain about a few cast members that were working at Space Mountain, the lady and Customer relations seemed to know exactly who we were talking about. Apparently they have been having bad attitudes all day. Im guessing they didn't keep their job much longer. People with bad attitudes don't belong at Disneyland
