Interesting Walt Disney World Resort Facts!

I figured since I started one for Disneyland I would start one for Walt Disney World. I am very curious to see what new facts I can learn about Walt Disney World. So feel free to share what you know!

My favorite interesting fact is the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Limo License plates and their corresponding songs!
    o 1QKLIMO: “Nine Lives”
o UGOGIRL: “Love in an Elevator” & “Walk This Way”
o BUHBYE: “Young Lust”, “F.I.N.E.*” & “Love in an Elevator" (which was written as Love In A Roller Coaster)”
o H8TRFFC: “Back in the Saddle” & “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)”
    o 2FAST4U: “Sweet Emotion”(live)

Hmmmm...... where have I seen that post before? Hahaha.

Also, out of Disney World's approximate 28,000 acres only about 9,800 has been used

Which is about a 1/4 of the land they own. Which is absolutely insane if you really think about it.

How many bricks make up the entire strucutre of Cinderella Castle? and what is the tallest structure in WDW?

I recently found out that Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin uses the same track layout as If You Had Wings and Delta Dreamflight! Also the the speed tunnel is the original speed tunnel from If You Had Wings and Delta Dreamflight!

Seriously? Do you not drive around property yourself? If you drive around yourself then you definitely realize it.

Tallest? Hmm....I'd have to guess the Tree of Life.

Nope. The tallest structure is actually Tower of Terror at 199 feet. There are 0 bricks that make up the structure of Cinderella Castle which I believe is 189 feet

Yeah and I didn't know Buzz and Dreamflight had the same track but I figured it did. I was very young when Dreamflight was still around but I seem to remember the cars moving the same way

That's actually correct. Were you serious when you posted that or just taking a guess? Haha.

Ahhh got another one. The opening day guest count at Magic Kingdom was 10,000 guests

Another fact or secret I love is the tributes you can find to Horizons!

Mission: SPACE offers tribute to Horizons where the gravity wheel in the ride queue has the Horizons logo.

or inside Space Mountain where one of the bags in the post-show for the ride (located on guests' left at the start of the exit moving sidewalk) features the words "Mesa Verde" written on it!

It was so low because people were afraid it'd be a disaster like Disneyland's opening

And if you want to feel it, do one of the runDisney races I admit, one of the reasons I want to work up to the Marathon is to see all four parks in under 7 hours

I don't know if they are anymore, as this was before the economy crashed and land prices were really high but developers were paying as the housing market was good (or at least that's what Pulte told us). I bet they stopped when the housing market fell out. But I could care less because I can see Wishes from my back window
