what are the must see show or ride if visiting california advanture?

I love the world of the color the most, but I did not get to see all of the shows and ride because I spent most of my time in disney land. but I will go to california advanture soon again, is there any suggestion that I must go?

    thanks ahead for the suggestions.

Unless you plan to go after the construction is over I'd definitely recommend California Screamin, Soarin over California, Grizzly River Run, Midway Mania, Tower of Terror, Mickey's Fun Wheel, Monsters Inc! Once the park is finished in 2012 I would add Carsland and Little Mermaid, etc!

I agree with Disneylover1955 & kb24 Aladdin is a must see, especially while it's still there. I think Screamin', Tower of Terror & Midway Mania are definite MUSTs

If you are visiting as a constant WDW visitor I would recommend: Grizzly River Run, Monsters Inc., ElecTRONica, Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular!, California Screamin', Silly Symphony Swings, The Little Mermaid (If visiting after Memorial Day Weekend), Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, Mickey's Fun Wheel... Basically Everything you can't find in Disney World. Tower of Terror is very different from Florida and only the que for Soarin' Over California is different from California's sister park. A Bug's Land is a lot of fun for myself and friends. I don't know much difference between CA's and FL's Muppets, It's Tough to be a Bug and Animation Academy. Toy Story has a much better que than ours, but ours is following the seaside pier theme.

Enjoy everything! Don't be picky. You never know what you may enjoy or what you may not. Give everything a chance!

My most favorite ride is Soarin. The entire ride is beautifully done. Down to smelling oranges in the orange grove... those Disney imagineers are awesome It's gorgeous, everyone will love it in the family

For a thrill ride I'd definitely recommend Screamin' For a slower ride but very fun I'd recommend Toy Story Mania, but the only bad thing about that ride is no fastpasses which means long wait times.

Definitely watch world of color. I'd say ride Tower of Terror, California Screamin, Soarin over California, Toy story Mania, Mickey's fun wheel, and Monster's Inc. Those are the best attractions at DCA for the time being!

IMO, rides without fastpasses may LOOK longer, but the line is constantly moving which provides shorter wait times than those with FP's.

In the long run while fastpass is a nice connivence it definitely hurts a ride more than people want to believe!

I would recommend doing a "World of Color Dining Package" if they have any openings when you go. Its really great! I just did it with my girlfriend in January.

You get to have a "Fixed Menu" Dinner at either Wine Country Trattoria or Ariel's Grotto... good food at both places... and they they give you a ticket to a reserved viewing section for World of Color. NO WAITING IN LINE or STANDING AROUND FOR HOURS! Great deal! Its the same sort of deal that they do in WDW for Fantasmic!

All you have to do is call Disneyland Dining and set up a reservation. have a wonderful time... World of Color is the best! love it!

If this post was from a few years ago I'd recommend Golden Dreams and Seasons of the Vine. LOL! Just kidding.

I think other people in this thread covered the major ones...Soarin', Tower of Terror, Midway Mania, Screamin', Grizzly...and don't forget Goofy's Sky School and The Little Mermaid opening this spring.

I highly recommend Disney Animation in Hollywood Pictures Backot. In there you can check out Turtle Talk, Animation Academy, the Toy Story Zoetrope, and Sorcerer's Workshop. Or, you can grab a seat inside the lobby area and enjoy music and scenes from your favorite Disney animated classics. Sorcerer Workshop is fun with family or friends...you can take a quiz to see which Disney character you are or dub your voice over Disney characters. My friends and I always get a chuckle playing in there!

    Have fun!

At Christmas time, they turned the whole area by Monsters Inc into Tron with loud music and drinks (for adults). Plus you had the Flynns 80's arcade to relive some of your childhood video games.

Good times to just sit and relax after a long day of running around.

I don't like California Adventure at all. It doesn't seem Disney-ish enough to me. It has way too much space where all you do is walk and not see anything. Hopefully it will be better with all the new rides and renovations going on.

hahahaha! that's a favorite of ours as well! the beers that they serve from that truck can only be purchased at DCA. back to the rides....i'd say my top 3 recommendations would be midway mania, ca screaming, and tower of terror.

I think it's been covered but California Screamin', Tower of Terror & Toy Story Mania the best CA has to offer. My youngest daughter enjoyed the Bug's Life area while we were there. Cars Land & Ariel's ride were just teasing us as they are still under construction World of Color is an absolute must see show!

I would have to say Aladdin and the world of color shows are a must. Ride wise I would say ca screamer probably, but I enjoyed the monsters inc ride also.
