They should let Golddust do commentary with Booker. Bring back that tag-team.

Wonder what the meeting was like to determine to Miz title. All that brain power and then somebody in a corner say "Just turn it over".

I didn't get to watch Wrestlemania. I was going to order the replay but I figure I'd wait for it be released in DVD (not Blu-ray) and it'll be cheaper to buy it then.
What I'm surprise is one of my favorite wrestler is retiring, Edge. I'm really going to miss him. He's an awesome Rated-R Superstar. I love the tag team of Edge and Christian and Rated-RKO was awesome. My favorite was on RAW, he mentioned how he was a vampire now that's a classic. I really wish I met Edge in person. I wish I went to Atlanta and did the RAW VIP thing so I could had taken a picture with Edge. I'm hoping he's still going to work with WWE somewhat and hopefully I'll get to meet him in person next year in Miami at Wrestlemania. Now I gotta buy the DVD tribute to Edge.

Awwww sorry! We learnt a lesson though! He rang me whilst looking at tickets on ticketmaster and the best we could get was in the tiered stands, but they would be row A. We couldn't work out whether row A would be raised (great!) or at floor level (rubbish!). In the end he was just going to go for it, but Ticketmasters site was being rubbish. He gave up and rang the CIA directly to see what they would give him and they gave him block D row A, so proper ringside. Cost the same as the tiered seating would have and they won't wait until Oct to post the tickets out to us. So always ring the place directly if you want the best seats!

Thanks to Gentleman ArRi (go team Duffy!)

They needed someone with a "big name" to help push Smackdown. I'm surprise that Cena went back to RAW. Rumor has it that when the Undertaker comes back, he'll be heading to RAW.
I'm still sadden that Edge is retiring.

Orton just doesn't seem like a major player anymore, he seems kind of boring to me. I would have much rather Christian kept the belt & feuded with someone like CM Punk who in my opinion is being under used. They are missing huge by not making Punk the top heel in the company.

So does anyone have an idea as to what wwe will do with the Raw announce team once Lawler & Cole finish feuding? It doesn't seem like they can co-exist once the feud ends. Could Cole become a manager or even the GM? I think he's proven he can be a great heel character.

Do you think it is possible that they could somehow twist Cole as being the anonymous RAW GM? Also, as a big RAW viewer, I was sad to see Sin Cara debut then move to Smackdown so quickly

OMG!!! while on our recent vacation to DisneyWorld, We was sat on the carousel at magic kingdom when William Regal walked past us, once we got off the ride we headed in the direction that he went and to my surprise found him sitting on a wall with his bottle of water and apple, I managed to pluck up the courage to ask for a photo and autograph which he happily did for me, life is good!!!

I try to get back into it but can't. The story lines along time ago with Stone Cold Steve Austin were amazing. Even with WCW when they had the NWO. Those were the days!!

The attitude era is certainly gone, at the moment WWE is lacking any ability to push anybody that wasn't from that era...ie why is Mark Henry the world champion? They just haven't been able to push talent strongly enough and the minute someone loses a little bit of steam they have their pushes dropped. Even while CM Punk is the hottest character going at the moment, they just don't know what to do with him. John Cena has dominated the last 5 years and nobody else has been allowed to shine, even Orton....

I also think it started when Triple H married Stephanie and he became the whole show, numerous times as the champ. Became real stale real quick

Orton is getting some kind of a push but not fast enough plus I think Orton really wants to remain a heal. Now WWE is trying to push Sheamus to be a huge face. We'll see what else WWE can do.

Sheamus could be a big character for the future, I like his gimmick.

Gotta wait until Wednesday before Bound for Glory, what a surprise that Hulkster turned back to his red and yellow, he told us month ago!!! Shame Roode didn't win the big one but I guess they want him to chase a little longer. But TNA doesn't seem to be able to make Bound for glory seem bigger then any other PPV.

Hmmm no posts in this thread since October 17! Any WWE fans left on here? Anyone watch the Royal Rumble? I find it ironic looking back at the last post - given the Rumble match tonight!

I will be watching the Rumble today...Can't wait...Love the rumble, one of the highlights of the year....the road to wrestlemania is always an exciting time for the WWE. And yeah my comment is pretty ironic really given the rumble result!

I think the biggest surprise for me was the return of Kharma as she kept the birth of her baby so quiet, nobody expected it. I didn't like all the announcers getting involved and how they had so many non active guys in there, last year we had 40 people due to the Nexus, this year there was only really about 20 proper wrestlers, personally I didn't think throwing Hacksaw or Roaddogg in there was that amazing, roaddogg works backstage now, but it was hardly like last years kevin nash or booker t surprise entrants. I liked sheamus winning as he needs a push and i didn't expect him to win. cena/kane wasn't that good but at least punk and bryan retained.

Like Rogpalmeruk said, Kharma was the big surprise for me. I personally LOVED the three announcers getting in. I liked how each ripped on the others for getting involved when they got called in, only to go in themself a few minutes later. I thought that was really funny - and the fact that Cole had his orange singlet on underneath his suit the whole time was priceless. Kharma really sold it for me though - and for her to go after Cole AND get in Vickie's face was simply amazing. Loved Mr. Socko vs. The Cobra too. I really don't care if "proper" wrestlers were filling the slots or not. At the end of the day it was one of the more entertaining Rumbles. Besides - there's only ever 2-3 guys that could even potentially ever be booked to win that match - so why not fill the other spots with entertainment instead of just literal filler like the Usos or Tyler Reks, etc. from me!
