i was never that curious about these things until i read your posts, so i had to go look. definitely some cool stuff out there. My cousin was a CM in WDW so he told me about some of the things from when he was there.

Awwww I love its a small world!

I think I remember seeing somewhere around 600 million!

you can ride it for me. its just everytime i go on it, there are so many boats we are bumper to bumper half way through the ride. the last time we were stuck 45 min on it before we exited the boat and walked out.

Space Mountain and Splash Mountain are actually taller than the Matterhorn, but since the Matterhorn is a Disneyland landmark, the taller buildings were put partially underground so as not to dwarf it

Thats pretty cool! Now we know why Space Mountain is 17 feet bellow ground!

That is soo interesting about the rock in indy. I still dont know that correct thing because I read so many different things but I do know now that it is REAL!!! CRAZY!!!

When you pass under the castle, there is a golden spike embedded in the ground. That spike marks the geographical center of Disneyland.

The Market House on Main Street gives out free refills on coffee.

Walt Disney took Richard Nixon for a ride on the Monorail when it opened. Nixon was there for the opening because it was the first monorail in the western hemisphere. After it opened Walt asked Nixon to get in. Nixon got in and they took off. However the secret service had no idea Walt was going to take Nixon aboard. So the secret service panicked once the doors closed and the train took off! I learned this on a tour at DL.

It is rumored that the disneyland fireworks show costs over $50,000+ per showing. Also is said that Fantasmic has a bill over over $30,000 per showing. Now thats no cheap entertainment.

If this is true that is a lot of money! How much domu think it costs to do world of color? No fireworks so it has to be a lot less expensive right?

Yup. If you are in the video projection room, turn around and look up by the projector. You will see the sign from the parking lot. I believe it is an eyeore, but its been a while.

It is the Eeyore sign and you will need a flashlight to see it.
