    Thanking a CM at Space Mountain for being honest!

    Hi, I'm sure there are CMs here so I'm posting this to anyone who knows Pat Lee that works/worked at Space Mountain unloading area on 1/8/11 around 10:15pm. We got off the ride and we heard a CM calling us and asked us if we left something in the ride. We all (my brother Phino, his fiance, my wife and I) searched our stuff and we all said no. Pat asked again to please make sure. Again, we searched and we said no. Pat then again insisted to please double check because he saw something, like a small pouch inside the ride when he was walking by. I then realize that it was my iPhone the fell. I told him it's my iPhone and he told me to just relax and they'll call the loading area. He then sent us to the loading area to get it.
    So, to Pat Lee! I really want to email Disney and write a letter of appreciation about him. I'm sure Disney gets all the negative letters about CMs and such so I'm sure they'll appreciate a possitive letter/email.

    I once lost my annual passes,lot of fast passes and my room keys that were in a lanyard pouch. it got ripped off in the ride. The Space Mountain cast member found it and then gave me some "front of the line" passes since I had to wait for the car to be found that the tickets were in. He was super nice.

    i remember i lost my sun glasses on buzz lightyear once and i and the CM searched up and down till they were long gone, i came back awhile after and the CM said "oh i got something fo you" and she handed me my sun glass.

    much love to the CM for being FANTASTIC!

    I remember once we forgot our passes on top of the coaster fastpass machines. Went back a while later and got them back. That's freaky stuff. Other than that, I've never lost something that I got back. I did lose my hat on splash mtn a few years ago that I never got back, and my dad lost his glasses on dinosaur 2 weeks ago that we'll probably never get back.

    But that's awesome that the cast member was cool enough to ask you

    hats off to Pat Lee and other nice and considerate CM's...Disney however needs to do an overhaul of CM's and hire actual people who are little kids at heart just like us who would love to work at disney and interact with people. I would love my job the pay may not be the best but its all about the experience of being able to work at the Most Magical place on Earth!!

    I agree. I help out with, for a lack of better words sorry, tourists who are trying to read the maps or look lost I ask them what they are looking for. Most CMs do too. I have only ran into two rude ones a d street DLR.

    Honestly this is one of those moments that makes me remember why I love the WDW and DLR sites, more often than not you have such good memories involving CMs than you do negative, granted there have been a few moments along the line but its expected. The ratio of good experiences to bad is always better.

    Please, please, please do take the time to send a quick email. That guest feedback is given to their supervisor and them. It is one of the highest things considered for promotion and other awards

    Totally agree. I worked as a CM and it's great when they let you know that someone remembered what you did for them and took the time to thank you. Remember it's a lot easier to file a complaint so whenever someone takes the time to write about something nice that happened to them it's very satisfying and worth a lot more.

    The nice thing about Disney is that most of the people that work there have at least a little bit of Disney spirit so they try to do nice things for the guests so everyone can have a great time

    Definitely write Disney and let them know. A great CM should be recognized. I have never had a problem with a CM and they work soooo hard to make our trips there magical so when one goes above and beyond I would make sure they got a pat on the back for that

    I once lost my wife in MK and they found her and gave her back to me! I never thanked the CM!!
