Well I wouldn't suggest coming back soon, wait a good long while until Cars Land has been open for a while. The crowds are going to be nuts but omg it looks amazing from what you can see. Also by then all the dumb construction walls will be down.

We might brave the opening because we are sick individuals, but I don't expect to get on many rides. More just to let us walk around and check it all out.

I usually visit at least once every other weekend though during the summer I hate going, I hi-tail it over to WDW when the crowds are lighter over there. This year my companion and I have decided to take a Disney break for the entire summer and do WDW in November, but we will definitely be going back to our every other weekend schedule once August hits.
We slow down in the summer too. Just too hot for us, we burn easily and I get cranky in the heat. We mostly just go for the shows and shopping during the summer.

Yeah well I have noticed it is either 10 degrees hotter, or cooler inside of Disneyland. So on a hot day surrounded by thousands of people can make you go mad.
I know it's always busy during the weekends, especially in the summer months, but does a day like Mother's Day make the parks even more crowded? I'm just wondering if I should even bother going this weekend, or if I will end up pulling my hair out because everyone and their mom (literally) will be there? Thoughts?
According to the various apps out there predicting crowd levels, the level for Sunday is the usual weekend crowd index. Nothing increased because of the holiday.
I was thinking about popping over this weekend, but decided not to because we are going the following weekend to see if they have the open edition SW series.

I went to Disenyland last mothers day and there wasn't a noticeable difference in the crowd levels. I actually have a friend who just got back and said it isn't too bad right now. I mean it is a Saturday but it shouldn't stop you from going.
Unfortunatly for us only every 2 years since we are on the East coast... :0(
