Wow I am the total opposite, Jafar is the only one I don't like in the Villains series. And they're supposed to be ugly! They're bad guys! I like that set a lot better because its full of more obscure characters and in my opinion designed better than several of the potato people in Animation.

Don't see why you would think they were "boring" but to each his own I guess.

There are a few I really like from each series, but I'm definitely more of an Animation fan. I've never really been into Villains like some people seem to be. (They're mean! :P) I'm really excited about Dodger! I love Oliver & Company, and he's my favorite character. Plus he looks great in Vinyl form!

I don't think Gaston is really a villain at all... just a jerk.

I like them both, but I think they did a better job with the designs of the villains.

That's so funny...this is actually why I like the Villains a bit more, even though I like the Animation characters more. I love that they didn't use accessories at all with the Villains series, even though they could have on several of them. I'm starting to be of the mind that these add-ons are almost like cheating--they're deviating from the original form and its limitations, and isn't that the challenge for the artist here?

I'll go ahead and join in as saying that I'm glad to see you back, JEP! I always enjoyed reading your posts before, so glad to see that you got internet again!

I voted for both as well- I mean, technically the villian series 1 designs beat the animations series 1 in my opinion, but I still think that both series have a lot of potential to keep getting better as new ones come out! I really hope these ones continue kind of like the parks and urbans too- you can't have enough villains or disney movie characters!

villains designs are much more appealing to me. Animation is cool too but the designs don't catch my eye like the villain series.
