    Kingdom Keepers

We've had a few discussions about this series already, but I figured I'd open up a thread to talk about it more since there will be at least one more booking coming out (right?). I've only read the first one, but I'm definitely planning on getting the second to read....probably after I finish the Percy Jackson series.

If anybody has a trip planned to WDW, DLR or any of the other Disneys parks, I recommend reading KK along the way. It adds on the excitement, IMO.

I only got through half the first book, I need to get it from the library again. I ran it overdue and had to return it. It seemed a bit slow in the beginning and definitely written down for a very younger audience, but I know I need to stick with it and it will be a fun read.

Yeah, I definitely agree with that. It took me a while to get through the first half of the book, and it's definitely written for a younger audience. It picks up closer to the end though, and I enjoyed it enough to give the second one a chance. Although, it seems that no matter the book series (HP, Twilight, Percy Jackson, etc...) I find the second book is always my least favorite, so I'm not sure if I'm going to like it.

It didn't take me very long to read it at all. Of course, I read it on a plane and I really didn't have anything else to do...

Loved both of these books. I really hope he continues this series - I think one set in Epcot would be very cool.

not sure if you all have heard, but apparently they're trying to make an online MMO game to correlate with the release of the third kingdom keepers book.. supposedly it's going to be on the new kingdom keepers website.. (i didn't want to post a link to the site, where i read this info, to respect this forum; however, you can easily search for it)

What a cool idea! There's such a gaming aspect to that book, it would be neat to see how they made the site a reality.

good deal at least i'm not the only one in their mid to late twenties reading the kingdom keepers. i enjoy reading them over again every now and then because they are such easy reads and only take a few hours to go through.

I just finished the second book and love the series. While I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover the third book (and reportedly the fourth as well) are much larger in size so hopefully they got more "grown up". It's been a good series so far although some of the things that happened haven't been as believable as others... that said he did get a good amount of info from imagineers that I wouldn't have thought they would provide.

I'm 30+ and I enjoyed the first 2 books. I haven't read the 3rd one, but I plan on it soon. They are very good reads, especially for Disney freaks.

so i'm a big dork and started them over again b/c they are fairly short (compared to regular novels) and they are fun, fast and easy reads. can't wait for the 4th.
