Subtracting Posts?

I'm sort-of confused rite now? I'm posting comments and threads and its starting to subtract rather then adding to my post amount Why is this?

There are certain areas of the forum where your posts will not count towards your total number of posts (Games, CYO, Welcome and Collector's Showcase).

Posts that do not contribute to the topic and/or are considered to be spam are sometimes deleted by the staff.
