The new AMC PI 24 Concession Stand

This looks really cool and looks like a lot of fun, lol.

And as you can see, a large section of alcohol, lol. I want to taste the 7 different flavors of Fanta, lol. I hope they have the apple one.

Beer and wine and a stocked bar!!!!! Yessssss!!!

I did notice the thing at the end discussing the "Fork and Screen" thing.. it says the first of that in FL? I guess that must be only talking about AMC Theatres because we've had Cobb Cinebistro over here in Tampa for a while. I love the dinner at your seat thing.

Edit: just googled it and yes, "Fork and Screen" is an AMC-named thing.

It's a very first time AMC is doing something like this. I know Muvico has done it also so AMC is trying to get with the "program". I'm actually surprise that AMC has taken this long to jump in this. I use to work for AMC and I remember back then, we would be up to date on things. Well, I guess better late than never, lol. Hopefully, I'll get to see the new set up this Sat. when my wife and I watch Tangled.

I'm surprised it's taken them this long to do it as well. They have a few Fork and Screen theatres open in other states, but none around here (FL). I love the Cinebistro at Cobb Theatres.. they have huge leather seats with tray tables.. so nice! I definitely think it's time for AMC to catch up!!

And how much is it to watch a movie in Cinebistro? Where exactly is it in Tampa?

There's one in Wesley Chapel and one in Hyde Park.

Prices vary between WC and HP, but at WC, matinees are $10, weekdays are $12.50, and weekends are $14.50. At HP Matinees are $12.50, the rest are $14.50, and after 10PM it's $10.

I'm pretty sure this is a trial and it will be spread throughout AMC theaters. That's what AMC does.

They already have a few Fork and Screen theatres open!

    http://www.amctheatres.com/dinein/forkandscreen/

I'm guessing this will be a huge hit at AMC PI since this isn't a very common thing (in-theater dining experience). Tourists (and locals!!) will love it!

Just saw a movie here and I would gladly go back just for the Coke machines. I can't wait till the finish the other side of construction. They're supposed to have real intheatre dinning on that side where waiters bring you foos while you're watching the movie. Sounds neat. And hey, if the movie isn't that great, order some drinks and you'll see how good it gets ;)

Like the changes to AMC PI. Love the bar area and the little seating area with the tv's. Makes getting there early not such a bore.

I'll be the odd one here to say I hate the idea of dining inside the theater. I just see it as another distraction inside the theater, like the person who doesn't understand to talk outside the theater on their phone. Ever sit behind someone in a drivethrough who keeps changing their mind? Now imagine this person talking/ordering for 10 minutes during the movie. No thanks.

I think you'd have to order before going into the theater. It's been years since I passed through, but I'm pretty sure that's how they do it at the Alamo in Austin, TX.

The AMC should be reopening in a few weeks, so we'll finally be able to see the changes! Considering it's actually a pretty good price to see a movie, who else is excited?

Actually according to the AMC website, it says that there is a call button on your chair. It has a menu listed and basically sounds like someone comes and takes your order. I just hope this doesn't spread to alot of the theaters. If food and drinks had to be ordered before the movie starts then I would have no problem. I wouldn't want someone placing an order during the movie. I also don't understand the reasoning for liquer inside the dine in theaters. It just isn't for me.
