Agree completely! I'm still trying to get use to the mickey ears not being behind the loop- I always thought it was such a cute touch!

I honestly didn't even remember that there was an announcement before take-off! The last time I was there for DLs 50th Birthday, the ride was out of commission! I guess I don't really pay attention to the announcements and concentrate on the sudden burst of acceleration which puts a BIG grin on my face!! Not too bad for a Disney ride ( I am used to the 0 - 128 MPH Kingda-Ka ride!!)

I love NPH, but he just is not a great addition to the take off sequence of this ride. It sounds too forced and unauthentic, couldn't they get a real Boardwalk barker to record these announcements? That way it would be more authentic! I still love NPH though!

Must agree! Old one is better than new one. Although, my favorite for the new one is when you're on the green one.
