Im so excited for Park Series 3! I wonder why the pins would come out before the series? Do you think they moved Park Series 3 up to Oct?

I actually think there was a typo with the date, hence the reason it hasn't been reported on this site. It would make no sense to have Park 3 released on the same dates as the Holiday Pins, which is a month early and would ruin the surprise of the Chaser figure.

I agree but the chaser in the pin series isnt always the chaser in the figure series.

Kinda. If you look on the pin trading website the only ones so far that don't show the 10th design are Holiday and Park 3. I can confirm that Holiday's 10th pin is in fact the I Love You/You Stink Chaser.

Someone said on the back of their Urban 2 pin box it had a mystery 10th design, but it turned out to be Bowling, which was advertised on their website the entire time. This kind of leads me to believe that it was a packaging error or that original Green Tea was supposed to be there instead of Bowling.

It was probably orginally suppose to be Green Tea, this got me wondering what Park Series 3 chaser will be.

Though there is a precedence of this with the first set of pins. Those pins were released several months before the vinylmation figures came out (and half a year before the urban 1 set) and included the park 1 chaser as one of the pins. Hopefully that was just a move to get people excited for a new collectible and they won't do this again. But you are never sure with Disney merchandise.

While yes they did do an early release, I would say it was more to get the hype going for vinylmation at the time. The first set was a mix and I really don't think at the time anyone knew what the pins meant or what a chaser was then. Now that they have been releasing pins since the new series of vinyls have come out, it does show that the pins come after the series. Since there is also a lack of a Disneyland release date, I would go with the set was posted in error or with an incorrect release date - maybe set for November to correspond with the vinyls??

I highly doubt they will release the series if the chaser is included among the designs. When they started doing the nicely framed posters back in February, they were to sell 3 posters at the Artist Party - Park 1, Vinylmation Logo and Urban 1. They were not allowed to sell the Urban 1 poster at that time as they discovered the chaser was revealed on the poster and they had to hold them until the Urban 1 Artist Party in March when the series was released. The same would apply to the pins.

Isn't it possible that Park 3 is simply going to be released early? Urban 2 came out several weeks ahead of schedule, so the same could be true of Park 3. Especially if the Park 3 trays are shipping on the same boat as the Holiday series or Cutesters.

Also, the original pin series that had the Balloon Chaser, also had 2 Urban designs as well. For those that actually wondered about the Park 1 Mystery Chaser, it very well could have been the Oopsy design or El Super Raton design. With the original pins they kinda/sorta spoiled the Chaser, but there was still the possibility it could have been one of three designs. Back then no one really knew what Vinylmation was and few people even knew they were going to be more than pins.

Personally, I wouldn't WANT the Chaser revealed so soon. I like opening a box on release day and seeing the Chaser design for the first time. Seeing I Love You/You Stink early took some of the excitement out of release day.

    General Park series 3

(Sorry if this is already up)

Can't wait for this series to come out. Alot of really cool concepts. But as a pin collector i am disappointed that the Carnotaur from the dinosaur ride didn't make the pin set. That figure is awesome! would have made a really cool pin!

    Alright have at.

It is a possibility. I doubt though it will be that much earlier then November. This set will be the final one for the year and we won't see anything new until 2010. We'll just have to wait and see....

I was suprised to see the Park 3 Pins at the Pin Station at Downtown Disney today. I would have bought some if I hadn't spent all my money on the Holiday Vinylmations.

I shopped at the Pin Traders shop at DTD Fla today and there were NO Park 3 pins there. The other person (see above post) must have gotten them before they either sold out or they realized they put them out too early and pulled them. They were def not there today (Sunday, Sept 13).

Must have pulled them. I almost didn't see them for the cash register. They were kind of hidden behind that. Now I really wish I had bought a box.
