Me too! I was in Florida and everybody went crazy for $2.99 vinyls. People were buying cases and cases. Since this is an AP sale, is the AP discount applicable?

Doh, disregard my post from the other thread. So what time did you guys show up? Yay, get to see some of you guys at this sale! Leaving the baby with grandma though, so you'll have to meet her at the trading event in January.

This is from the Art of Disney Parks event listing

We ask that you do not queue prior to 5:45 a.m. Arriving Guests will be directed to queue up behind Rainforest Caf�® near the Downtown Disney® District Valet Kiosk. We ask that you please park in the Downtown Disney® District parking lot

So I don't know if that means that they will just try to kick you out prior to 5:45, like they did for the 55th anniversary Vinyl release. Last year we parked near the Denny's and walked to the Grand Californian at around 4:30 and just waited in the lobby until 6 when we could get into line. We were the first people in! Not sure if we can do that this year though.

Nope. They actually indicated in the fine print about only lining up at 5:45AM. Looks like they are actually going by the same policies as vinyl releases. You can probably line up in your car outside the gate like usual.

Like most vinyl releases, u can get there as early as u like. But ur going to have to wait in ur car till about 545 when they let u into the parking lot. I'm sure there will be a line of cars outside...

But anyway, we're probably planning to leave San Diego around 2AM and arrive around 3:30AM/4AM. I think both Mike and I are over camping out in the car since they don't let you sleep. Hopefully we wake up. ;) Hope to see you guys, and don't forget to bundle up.

so is everybody just going to line up at the same place as vinyl releases? outside the parking lot gate by the espn zone parking lot? even though WOD is at the other end, hopefully they will just gather everybody behind rainforest like always. just dont want to get snaked by somebody if we are all following the rules and other people find another way to get in line. i hate how tricky these things always are.

and yeah, that should be the case. if you look at the fine print on the WoD announcement, it says exactly that. So no one has an excuse not to follow the rules. As long as rules are in place and people know them, I don't mind security enforcing them. That's what makes it irritating when no one know what their policies are.
