That website is amazing, hey Universal are you paying attention? Now if only the actual event could be as good as HHN? Although I've never been though so I can't judge, just seen videos/pics.

Yes the houses are at HOS website. They have 7 houses and 4 scare zones and roaming Hordes.
Snowman, You need to take the wife on come on the 2nd. I know the kids will enjoy when they get Seaseme up next year.

Also HOS does not have the budget and the craft type people Universal has, But who does?

I only went once on preview weekend and it was a lot less crowded, lines weren't bad and we got right on all the rides too. A lot of fun. The budget wasn't as high as he said, but still, I thought it was done well.

So I see the Toy House is in the Bird gardens, that means it is going to be the bigger house, size wise.

The Nightshade Toy Factory is in the skyway building actually.

Well yes it is in the skyway building, but they call it the Bird Gardens because back many years ago that is what it was. But as for now you are correct.

I really had a good time. But I am not really a HHN veteran as I haven't ever been (I am waiting till the end of the month). I imagine that HHN fans will laugh at some of the stuff, but it was fun. I did the fright feast and got 90 mins front of the line access to all the houses and got all of them done in that time.
I thought the Nightshade Toy Factory was the best. The DED Sororiety was nicely detailed but not very scarey. The rest of the houses were fun.
I'm not really a jumpy kind of guy so I didn't get but one jump all night. It was dark, I was walking by this group of bushes and in them was this flashing light up braclet, I bent down to pick it up when this THING jumped out of the bush screaming "DON'T TOUCH IT!". That one got me.

It will be cool to see what you think in comparison to HHN. I loved HOS when I went but of course HHN has a much larger budget, so you can see the difference. I only got one good scare from HHN though too... dang air machine!

The reason I chose Howl-O-Scream at BGT first is I am driving to West Virginia on Thurs. and taking my kids to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Sat. so I wanted to see if I thought my 9 year old princess could handle it. So I am doing 3 different Halloween events this year (HOS Tampa, HOS BGW, and then HHN).
It is wierd since I have never done an amusement park Halloween event, and this year I am doing 3.
I will let you guys know how the one in Williamsburg is and the compare the 3.
But one thing I have noticed is that while the 2 here are very horrorcentric, they are not very Halloweeny, you know pumpkins, witches and stuff. More Zombies and gore.

There was one house last year at HHN all about Halloween... The Hallow. One of the best houses I've done too.

HOS has Pumpkin Cheesecake, that for me is the deal breaker,,,lol..

You will find the big differance is size of crowd at HHN at end of the month,,, And those Busches are freaking evil they always seem to get me every year. One year they even had a person hidden in one of those garbage bins.
