    HHN 19: Containment

When an experimental bio-nerve gas is accidentally released into the atmosphere, the streets are filled with a toxic green mist that turns anyone that comes in contact with it into an infected, melting glob of flesh and blood.

    Discuss the 'Containment' scarezone!

Eh, it might be ok. Need TONS of fog though and that's not usually par for the scarezones due to so many guests and safety concerns I'd imagine.

I'm just really hoping this won't include that huge bubble making machine that filled the streets and left you soaked when you walked out of it.

Oh that makes me laugh Ang, I hated that stupid foam crap. Almost fell on my butt and got wet, yeah, not so great! Someone asked on the Q&A on facebook about more fog in the scarezones and the reply was "Containment is the scarezone for you." So, sounds like it will be filled with green fog, woohooo!

The Q&A really didn't answer much at all. All the answers were very cryptic or dodged the question entirely. I wanted to know the truth about the Chucky house and never got a real answer. Oh well. Pretty cool that he took to time to do the Q&A.

Total guestimation on my part, but just going by what's listed on the containers, I'd guess it's the containers for the hydraulic fluid that goes in The Simpsons Ride(and possibly others.)

I vaguely remember reading something either when the ride opened, or when Universal started the Going Green campaign, that said the ride used eco/enviro safe fluid on the ride.

I'm guessing for this zone though they're the containers or the bio stuff that leaks out and turns us all into melting puddles of goo.

There wasn't a whole lot of theming going on in this zone when we walked through yesterday. I wonder if they're still going to add more or if they plan on making the fog so thick it would be pointless to have props.

The second one. Supposedly you won't be able to see your hand in front of your face, which makes me nervous that someone is going to run into me and knock my teeth out.

The way they made this zone sound was that it'd be so foggy you couldn't see a foot in front of you, but judging from the video I've seen tonight at employee preview it wasn't like that at all.

They do have these huge, inflatable arches that you go under out there though that I haven't seen before. Maybe it helps to keep the fog contained.

Only videos I can find of Containment. It looks like a pretty cool scarezone in my opinion.

Yeah I saw those two vids last night. I am starting to like this zone a little more. I like the sounds in the background like the alarm and the guy talking telling everyone not to breathe in the fog.

I personally found this house to be a waste of space BUT I give some of those scareactors mad props for having to stamina to run around all night in plastic-bag like suits. Having wrestled in a previous life, you sweat in those suits even when it's freezing out.
