HHN 19: Lights, Camera, Hacktion!!!

Hollywood Boulevard is being used as a location for the filming of the next big horror movie to be released in October 2010: The CHAINSAW DRILL TEAM MASSACRE in 3-D. Lights, Camera, Hacktion! Our director, Mas Imair, noted horror film aficionado, is bringing the massacre to life in blood-red terrorcolor. But the actors seem to be taking their direction literally and are "hacking" through the cast and crew. It’s a close encounter of the worst kind as the backlot becomes a hacklot and the streets run red with blood. Are you ready for your close-up?

I would like to just say thank you to Universal for putting the chainsaws in one place as a scarezone. I think they have chosen the perfect spot for them, it's close enough to the entrance so as you're coming in you will hear the saws and get everyone all psyched up and freaked out, but it's not at the entrance which would result in chaos and injuries with guests running from the saws! I think this one could be quite good!

Yeah this is a much better location than out in front of Disaster. What was THAT about?

The only problem is it is a lot brighter in this area than the area between Beetlejuice and Disaster. I hope they do something to make it darker so the Chainsaws aren't easily noticed.

I believe Rocky Horror only had a 3-year contract with this year being the third. So before it came I actually have no idea if Beetlejuice played over there...

I don't remember either. We were more interested in the houses and Bill & Ted was always a MUST, though the last few years I hear it has been pretty unfunny

I've been hearing a rumor from a couple different people that the RHPS was extended for 6 years. I keep wondering if that means 3 more years for a total of 6 years, or if it means an actual 6 more years for a total of 9 years total???

I can remember them running the Beetlejuice show a night during some past HHNs

I'm so tottally psyched about the chainsaws geting their own scarezone this year. Last year I ran into a few but none of them targeted me out of the crowd Hopefully this year They will and I'll have a truely terrifying encounter...YAY!!

One thing I really like about this zone is that there are actual victims that the chainsaw guys go after.
