Paint Drip Mickey

Could someone explain to me why it is so hard to find someone to trade a Paint Drip? Did I miss out on something? I mean not one person on the trading and selling forums wants to trade him, there is a few people looking the sell him but thats it. So I am just wondering is Paint Drip really that popular that everyone is holding onto him or is there just not that many of them out there to trade yet since Urban 4 is still kinda new?

Just a general question I would love to hear what people have to say. I saw that picture on the Vinylmation blog this morning and my mouth dropped when I saw Paint Drip Mickeys sitting there for possible trades

Me too. I have been wanting to get my hands on Paint Drip Mickey, but I just am not willing to pay for him YET... I will try to blind box him and if that fails I will buy him. Hopefully at that point there are still some available. It is a very cool design and seems to be really popular so maybe that's why the people who have him aren't willing to give him up.

Very lucky. Congrats! Send some of that luck my way so I can hopefully blind box one as well!!! I was so tempted to buy some today but I ordered the Epcot Holidays Tin and a few muppets to try to complete my set. I will move on to Urban 4 next. Eeek... so many vinyls and so little cash!

Lucky that time, but the batch before that of 7 I got 3 Purple Gears.

I hate when that happens but I try to be optimistic about it and think that it's more trading material.

I bought some of DS.com and my luck of course gears and my third mighty mouse. I am starting to think I might just have to purchase him, would probably be cheaper cause I have spent lots trying to blind box him unfortunately. I am hopping someone will trade him for my Conductor Pete!!

I think it's a combo of both. It's an extremely popular chaser and the series is relatively new.

Dont give up though!

Trading is pretty tough and hard to come by with a popular and relatively new series chaser... the only thing you can do is be patient.

the other problem with this character is that it appeals to both urban and park collectors as well as just anyone that collects mickey stuff (and there's tons of them). The problem is a combination of those mentioned previously and the cross collectibility of this particular vinyl

I luckily blind boxed my paint drip mickey. I believe he has the potential to be one of the most sought after chasers in the vinylmation series down the road. He is just so unique and automatically grabs your attention. I am sure you can do some stuff with your 3 mighty mouses from the urban 4 series. There are so many people looking for that, just the other day at downtown disney in Anaheim some guy traded away evil porkchop chaser in a mystery box because he wanted the mighty mouse in there. I'm sure a toy story fanatic would trade chaser for a chaser. If you live close to any theme parks just go in during LE releases and find people, i went for the mr. toad today and ended up trading someone for an evil porkchop =) Good luck!!!

I agree, it's tough finding the paint drip mickey, been trading quite often, mostly once a week at WDW, never seen in open box, never got one in a blind box. However, I have opened two paint drip mickeys, I won't trade them unless it was a worthy trade, they are just really that awesome.

Today at Trade City there were only 2 people willing to trade it to me. 1 person wanted 2 mr. toads (which my parents didn't think was wise or worth it to which I angerly disagreed but to no avail) and someone else said he would have traded it to me for my conductor pete if I had been a few minutes earlier. And the kicker is that for the second guy, I was standing there and walked away to find my father

im trying to blind box the paint drip mickey. going to DLR tomorrow. but i think im only going to get 1 or 2 vinyls.

I don't see what the big deal is with paint drip Mickey chaser, in my opinion it definitely isn't one of the coolest vinylmations ever made, and I definitely wasn't extremely excited and almost cried when I blind boxed it on my last trip to DLR

I actually pulledit out of the box yesterday, my parents also did it yesterday and my dad did it today. We have had such luck with it today and yesterday..... weird

I'm hoping to blind box the Paint Drip Mickey on my next visit to WDW. Hopefully I will be able to do it when I go get my NBC series next week.

I just got home from a wdw trip with all but the paint drip mickey so I had to find it on ebay and pay a little too much for it but it does complete another set!!!

I think that the rest of the Urban series hasn't been as popular and that might be why not as many people have the case... so they aren't buying extra cases to sell and selling the chasers... I'm thinking of ebay on this one. I personally love Paint Drip too and am trying to be patient before I get him. I only like about 3 of the others!

I don't know about collecting all the urban series but I do love the paint drip mickey. Iit looks like a vinyl that can turn into a classic. I love to give 1 a new home.

I hope everyone eventually gets one because I must say he is definitely a must have Vinyl for any true Vinyl collector. I would love to start an army of these that's gonna be expensive, maybe I will pass on that idea for now.....to many good things coming out soon.

Hooray! Congrats on pulling him! I had the same reaction when I opened mine- the lady at the register thought something was wrong and got all scared

Oh an army of these would be awesomeness indeed I hope everyone can get this little guy in their collection as well- he really is my favorite chaser to date
