I saw some of these bigfigs on my last trip and I thought they were absolutely spectacular! I really loved some of the Donald ones...and Ummm Jessica rabbit caught my eye as well. :yum:
Anyone out there collect these, or own any?
Please convince me to buy one in three words or less. :P

Jessica Rabbit! Yowza!
Those are my three words. I've also got the original Jedi Mickey before they started doing the other characters. For the price, they're not bad

The only two I have are Tigger and Mickey with the pumpkin.
I really like these but they take up too much room.

Big Figs take up lots of room. We have shelving in our kitchen that allows just enough room(between the ceiling and the top of the shelf) to squeeze them in so we must have at least 10(3 Stitch, Buzz, Tomorrow Land) there as well as seasonal christmas and halloween ones. My favorite is a fourth of July big fig we saw at WDI and just had to have. Unfortunately, we have run out of room and don't buy many of the newer ones.

Don't forget to check your local Disney Character Warehouse.
They sometimes have big figs and at a great price.
The last 2 I saw were Star Wars big figs and they were $89 or $99

It was $89, I saw a big fig goofy dressed as jar-jar binks and another goofy dressed as chewbacca. Oh and Minnie dressed as princess Amidala!!! They looked amazing and for 89 dollars you cant beat it!!! :)

Started collections on two different things last week while at The World...the first obviously was vinylmation, and the other was a Big Fig. We got one that we had always liked but had never purchased. The Sorcerers Apprentice, where the base sparkles (or should if it wasnt broken). I do need to call Disney and see if there is anything they can do to help me get one that works.

I hadn't heard of these until today... they're breathtaking. It's official... I need to become rich and famous if I ever intend to collect everything that I want to. *determined face*

I went to one Disneyana Conference, bought 2 (Beauty & the Beast and the Pirate Mickey) and have been hooker every since! I have since added the entire LE Set of Star Wars Big Figs from the 2009 Star Wars Weekends. I display these in my home office. The only downfall besides the cost of these/piece is the amount of space they take up - they are awesome, but they demand a place to be shown off!
BTW, my husband would LOVE the Jessica figure so I say GO FOR IT!

There is a nice one in the outlet mall on Vineland across from where Dixie Stampede used to be. Also there's a good one in the International Outlets.
Both in Orlando... I've never seen an Outlet in Tampa - the closest one I've seen is in St Augustine, but there may be others. (BTW, the St Augustine did have a couple of the Big Figs a few months ago.)

I keep hoping they come out with something new but everytime I visit DTD there is nothing new I want to bring home.
I was tempted by the NBC Jack they had on sale at DS.com but I just don't have room to display any new ones. I may have to start collecting marbles soon since I have very minimal space left :(

I love the big figs! My wife and I have ended up with a few over the years. Thank you, flickr, for the nice pics.

I actually got Jack for either $30 or $40 because he was "damaged", but all these years later I still can't figure out where!

I have a tinkerbell big fig that I got at the Disney store a few years ago... It was on a major sale (store was closing) for about $30. She's sitting on a leaf with flowers above her.
I'd love to get some more, but I don't have the money or space for them. There's a steelers bar/resturant in Myrtle Beach, SC called Oscar's. The owner was a Disney fan, and so there's a display cabinet of his sorcerer Mickey things, and then one of the rooms is lined with Disney big figs along the walls. Very cool.
There are a few I would definitely make space for... including the ones themed to the lands of the Magic Kingdom for Disneyland's 50th (especially frontierland!!), the one with Figment painting, and the one with the Fab 5 on the Main Street Trolley.
I'd love to see more pictures from you guys!

I've been collecting Big Fig's for years. Some of my favorites were the ones produced for disneyshopping.com (disneystore.com now) for Halloween and the Haunted Mansion. They did a set of extremely large figs around Halloween of 3' - 4' tall hitchhiking Ghosts that were supposed to be put outside as yard decorations (not that I would ever dream of putting them outside). Here is a picture of them at our old house during Halloween, (Not sure why Gus is wearing my honeymoon mickey ear hat, but oh well... ) This was also around the time they did the Hatbox Ghost Big Fig. I don't have a good picture of him, but take my word for it, he is great. http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb451/howie26/Newfolder607.jpg

I also spot your NBC fountain and that is an excellent piece. Your haunted mansion figures are really awesome. I can't stop looking at them.
Where do you store them?

To be honest, we keep them out all year. We tried putting them away that first year, but they were just too neat to not have out. Our friends who came over probably thought we were crazy because we had the stretching portraits in the dining room and the arm sconces on the wall in the living room year round. HM is our favorite attraction, so we couldn't stand to keep all of our treasures hidden in boxes. The hitchhiking ghosts are really great at night because they have blue LED's in the base that makes them seem to glow.

I have 7 of the 12 Disney Star Wars Big Figures that were limited to 500 each. Saw them on our family trip to Disneyland, discussed getting some with my wife and drove down the next weekend for the sole purpose of getting them. Cramped ride on the way back. But they look awesome displayed in my game room up on the ledge.

I've always wanted a big fig. I was lusting after Kermit with his banjo for the longest time, but I haven't seen him around in a while. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on ebay and hope he shows up when I have some extra cash!
Awesome Star Wars big figs, booleyb!
