Disney Resorts Selling Vinylmation

I don't know if this is old news or not but the resorts at Disney are slowly starting to sell Vinylmation. I also heard that a particular resort is doing activities with them.

I've seen them at the Contemporary, but haven't at the Poly or Grand Fla. I forgot to look when I was at AKL. I'm not sure what determines which gets them in.

The resorts that get them are based on sheer volume of the location and how many Guests would potentially be staying/shopping there. Contemporary gets a lot of traffic with Chef Mickey's, so they got them based on traffic, or as they are a destination resort, where people come for more then just to stay on a regular basis. Pop Century also have them but based on sheer number of Guests staying there as they are not a destination resort like Contemporary is.

that's correct! All-Star Music just started last week. I also heard they're trading and doing activities with them

While you can't blame Disney for increasing the visibility, I believe this is a sign that they have over-produced the most recent series and are looking for avenues to move them without having to mark down and aggravate all of those collectors who continue to purchase. Hopefully they cut back to appropriate levels with Holiday and Cutesters...also still looking for any indication of quantities produced by set if anyone out there has insights.

I have seen them at hotels now since Park 2. Pop Century always has them! I take pics everywhere I see them displayed b/c everyone does it differently. I will post some here since now we have a thread for it! Thanks!!!

All Star Music
Contemporary

...and found them randomly today in the Test Track gift shop, never would have thought.
