Hey everyone!! For those of you who are pin collectors I just wanted to let you know that odpt.com has been updated with the Urban 2 series of pins to be released on 8/27/09. As of now they are listed as a limited release, but not listed as a limited edition, we are unsure at this time if they will be seen on the shelves prior to the release date like the Park 2 series pins were.
If you haven't seen them in the updates, or seen the full set, you can view them at the following link:

Also, these are listed at $16.95 instead of the usual $12.95. You can thank the "Limited Release" for that.

Lovely even more money to spend :(

$16.95 plus tax is a LOT for two pins. I feel like we're going to be seeing these pins for below retail cost on ebay right away... =/

I decided to give up on collecting the pins once I realized the frequency (and price probably played a factor too). I've never been interested in pins but the first series of pins had a slight appeal to me simply because they were Vinylmation, but I really don't see myself getting anymore for awhile.

i don't like how this pin set is specifically just the urban series set.. especially since the first set (not sure about the second) included park #1 and urban #1.. that being said, i'll probably still be on the hunt for them

I think the second set that just came out that has been pulled off the shelves was just of Park 2. I agree that I like how the first series was a combination of Park 1 and Urban 1. It also helps spread the pins out a little bit more. Everything is coming out so close together that it's making it hard for my bank account to keep up with.

Hopefully these will end up on lanyards. Every once in awhile I get a Vinylmation pin off a lanyard and then I end up trading for ones that I need. It nice when you can get one off the lanyards.

I, to, really liked that the previous series was a mix of the Park and Urban Vinyls. I only got a few pins, and all by trading. I really liked them, but at the same time, I thought there were still a little pricey for mystery pins, but 17 bucks for "limited release?" What does that mean anyway? With the speed of the releases, and the amount of Park 2 vinyls out there, they're getting greedy.

I'm not much of a pin collector, but I like displaying the pins with each figure. It's like each figure has his own "doll" (okay, so I'm a girl!). It seems criminal to me to charge that much for pins, let alone pins that might be duplicates of ones you have.
But anyway... I will be trying to buy Urban 2 and Park 2 if I can ever find them.

Ok, I'm not a pin collector, but I found this posting on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130330230686&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
it says it's for an Urban 2 Baseball pin???? There's no picture. Does anyone know what it's suppose to be? I'm just curious.

I saw that too. That seller may be very confused about the bowling pin Mickey.

Big Al was right ... I emailed that seller and asked what the baseball looked like, and they corrected their listing ... they meant Bowling. It's so easy to confuse those two sports -- both have balls.

I was wondering about that last night. I checked my eBay account and the Bowling pin was listed. I knew I didn't save that one, so I figured the guy must have changed it. Thanks...now I can sleep at night knowing what it's suppose to be!

Anyone know why the pins aren't for sale on Disneystore.com? That would be nice if they were... I actually started with pins b/c they were cheaper! Now I'm stuck on both 3" and pins! :bonk:
