I decided to design a Mulan P-a-l, but unlike my Vinylmation custom designs I decided not to make her look real/fabric-y: instead I decided to just have it as a vector-style design. :)

Agreed. Both she and Pocahontas had great movies but all they received afterwards were bad sequels. :( Giselle needs more attention too, but she will be getting a theatrically released sequel soon so that should help. :)

Oh, and before any tells me, I know that Giselle is not part of the official Princesses group. But she should be. Mulan isn't a princess either, but she's in the group. ;)

1. I'm hoping that Enchanted II involves a return to Andalasia, maybe because Nancy is kidnapped. That would mean a good portion of the film would be animated. :3
2. Yes, Lea Salonga is amazing. Was she Pocahontas' singing voice also? I also love Liz Callaway, who was the Odette, Anastasia and Jasmine (sequels only) singing voices. :)

I had to look it up for Pocahontas... looks like Judy Kuhn did the singing.
Now I just remembered she is the woman in Enchanted that opens the door for Prince Edward and is pregnant and has lots of kids and says "You're too late." Love it.

Oh, I also agree with HHGF that you should see Atlantis. Very cool movie- but more for the grown ups than the kids in my opinion. I watched it when I was younger and it kinda went over my head. A few years later I understood it more and really liked it- decided it was worthy :cool: (I am particularly fond of the music :love:)

Thanks for the title change! In the future I might do some non-royal designs too, but for now only princesses and other Disney leading-ladies so the title fits well. :)

Agreed. Her ending was more deserved than worked for, as her hard work was independent to her marriage to the prince. :)

There is no scene in any film showing her and beast marry or as a married couple. If you ask her in the park she'll deny being married or pussyfoot around it. The first game you play with each princess seems to be you have to dress them...and for some reason they all say you have to put earrings on them...but only like, 3 of the head accessories include earrings.

When we take our daughters to Disney, we always joke about this with the "character couples". Last time we were talking to Minnie about why they weren't married and she turned to Mickey and put her hands on her hips. Mickey started making the "cut it out" and "shhhh" hand gestures at me. Then he started pacing. haha it was awesome.

I have answers for all of your questions. In February of last year, I took the Mickey's Magical Milestones tour and they explain why Mickey and Minnie are not married. They said it is to preserve the childlike innocence they are supposed to showcase. So they want them to be "always dating, but never married." Goofy actually was married, but his wife died of cancer. I read that on some official site although I can't remember where. And I'm sure the same goes for Donald about the childlike image. However, I think its so they can flirt with the guests, ever notice how close Minnie gets with your boyfriend/husband sometimes? LOL

Hooray, finally someone else you agrees about the blue dress! The original merchandise all used the blue dress, and that is the dress that Aurora wears right before the book closes in the movie. But Disney needed a pink dress for the group, and Ariel's dress wasn't enough. *sigh* Oh well! And I know what you mean about Giselle, look a few pages back and you'll see a whole conversation about her, Mulan and Pocahontas. ;)
