New World of Color tv spot and new DCA logo

Here's a new ad on World of Color and it debuts the new logo of Disney California Adventure:


Everyone seems to be interested in “World of Color,” and Mickey Mouse is no exception. In this never-before-seen TV spot, you can see Mickey mischievously handling a magical baton and trying to conduct this water spectacular all by himself! It won’t appear on television until Monday, May 31, but we’re treating you to a rare first glimpse of the “World of Color” spot.

Did you notice the fun, new logo for Disney California Adventure park in the spot? It’s so new that if you touch the screen, you just might get paint on your fingers.

I think the font is a bit to wacky, and as others on another Disney related board have mentioned, it reminds me of Goofy font too much.

Oh okay, now I remember them- the second one more than the first. Yeah, that's kind of sad to see the new logo. I liked the one with grizzly peak too! I mean, if they were going to change it, why not at least include the Mickey Ferris Wheel in the background or something? :shrug:

I like the new logo the least of the three that have been used; I actually prefer the second plain one because it was a clean and simple font.

Hahahaha I totally was! Checking out all the World of Color stuff, and Silly Symphony Swings, which finally opened and looks amazing!

:yikes: You mean the one where you get to ride in the twister with Mickey??? (at least that's what I imagined it would feel like- I'm tempted to bring a harmonica or something when I ride it so I can really feel a part of the band concert :D ... :look: ... :dash:)

Yes! It is a lot better done than I thought! The music they play while your riding and waiting in line is so nice! I will have to post some pictures of it! :)

Oh this summer/fall will be crazy with World Of Color, Silly Symphony Swing, Halloween themed Toy Story Midway Mania, Aladdin staying at DCA, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy! So much to look forward too! :)

:lol: Just got a mental image of what one of those committee meeting might have involved. "Okay, so after 12 rounds of voting, we have reached a decision that the words should be yellow. That's enough for today- tomorrow we decide the font."
