Let's see if y'all can get creative! Lol.
You are given the opportunity to enhance an existing Disney resort, or create your own. Imagineered Resorts should include:
- Accurate descriptions of the attractions you are including.
- Brief attraction guidelines that are normally posted outside the attraction entrance.
- Names of the dining/merchandise locations in the park you are adding/enhancing.
- ORIGINAL ideas. You shouldn't copy other posters' ideas.
I'm "curiouser and curiouser" to see what you all can produce. Let's have a go!
Pixar Park:
Laid out like most other disney parks, the entrance leads to a central attraction with several spurs leading to various other sections of the park. The "main street" area leading to the central attraction would be themed after the Emoryville Campus, much like Pixar Place in HWS.
Central Attraction: 150' tall Replica of Luxo Jr. with the yellow star ball resting at it's base. The bottom floor, or base of the lamp, houses a self guided Pixar museum filled with antiquities from the companies history. Elevators can take guests to the "bulb" for a observation area.
Toyland:
This area is themed after Toy Story franchise.
Thrill ride in this area is Space Command Blast Off, a themed coaster with the cars modeled after Buzz's Star Cruiser, 2 seats side by size (see this image (http://www.my-family-fun.com/pictures/buzz-lightyear-star-command-cruiser-275.jpg) for reference). Track would be indoors, and take you through a trip in space.
Of course there's also Space Ranger Spin, and Midway Mania.
Pizza Planet for dining. A potato head store with lots of custom parts. Al's Toy Barn (w/ Animatronic Chicken Al out front) for more merchandise.
Dreamland:
Based around Pixar films with dreams and desires: Monsters Inc, Bugs Life, Nemo.
Thrill ride for this area, replica of Monsters Inc Factory, with coaster based on the Door Sequence, as rumored to appear in DHS 2011 (Jim Hill).
Crush's Coaster (From Disneyland Paris)
Flick's Journey - A dark ride that takes you through the world of A Bugs Life.
Turtle Talk, etc.
Dining: Harry Housen's (Sushi/Tempanyaki), Heimlich's Hideaway (Quick Service)
Actionland:
Based around Pixar's adventure films: Cars, Incredibles, Up.
An incredibles themed coaster based around the islands transit system.
A re-themed version of Disneylands Mullholland Madness, themed for Cars.
Up-themed dark ride with balloons carrying you (similar to Peter Pan's flight) through the rain forest, canyons, a waterfall, and of course a few suprises from Kevin.
Dining: Flo's V8 Café
Wonderland:
Based around Pixar films set in far off places: Ratatouille, WALL-E
Tour de Paris - ride around on Remy's scooter as you travel the busy streets of Paris
Axiom - Relax in the comfort of a hover chair as you take a tour of the BnL Starliner, but watch out for malfunctioning robots!
Dining: Gusteau's (Signature Dining, French Cuisine), Buy-n-Large Meal Service (Quick Service)

I am making a ride in RCT3 called "The Great Pixar Movie Ride" and now that you posted this you inspired me to make a full park! Do you mind if I use some of your ideas to recreate this in RCT3?

I don't mind at all, in fact I'm flattered :)
Thanks for your comments too Big Al - I felt like I was slacking by leaving out some upcoming movies like Newt and Bear and the Bow, and all their great shorts.
