Mark your calendars Vinylmation™ Fans on the West Coast. On May 22, Quinn Shurian, 2010 Disneyland® Resort Ambassador, will be trading Vinylmation™ Figures at D-Street located in the Downtown Disney® District. He will be trading from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., so please stop by and say "Hello."

Mike and I are still debating whether or not to go. Too bad this isn't on Sunday, because we're going to the parks for a friend's birthday. All this SD to LA driving is nuts!

Oh yeah, that's right I forgot you mentioned that to us! Have fun! lol. I will be checking my phone every minute to see what the status is over there. If something good is happening at 2PM, I'm telling Mike we're going to ditch our commitments and head to DLR. We can get there in an hour if we're motivated enough!! :rofl:

Thats too bad, they pumped this up like they were going to do something special. I even thought about dumping all my plans today to go thinking that they were going to be trading park 1's or urban 1's, Im glad I stayed home then. Maybe next time.

Disney Ambassadors are selected cast members who are chosen and to represent and promote each Disney Resort. The program first started in 1965 and was created by Walt Disney. For the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland Park, Actress and Disney Legend Julie Andrews was asked to become the honorary 50th Anniversary Ambassador.

As of January 2009, Disneyland has had 44 teams of Ambassadors, and Walt Disney World has had 38. Diane Killeen currently manages the Disneyland Resort Program. Angie Sola currently manages the Walt Disney World Resort Program. Sandra Wallis currently manages the Disneyland Resort Paris Program. Carrie Tan manages the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Program.

Vision: The Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Ambassadors represent the heritage and legacy of Disney and the friendly, diverse spirit of our Cast. They share the Disney traditions with our Cast Members and the world.

Mission: The Disney Ambassadors share their knowledge about Disney, its heritage and products, with the Cast and Guests.

They recognize the Cast for the value they bring to the company's vision. In the community, they bring goodwill and speak on behalf of the Cast. They carry the messages that motivate our Guests to visit.

The Ambassador Program is a department within Public Affairs. The Ambassadorship is a full-time, salaried role, and lasts for one year, beginning January 1 and ending December 31.
