Haunted Mansion History

I just got finished reading this blog entry about the Haunted Mansion.
I thought it was pretty interesting and kind of points some arrows to an age old question:


Why is the Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square?

Its a bit of a long read, but if you're really into "ghost stories" (pun intended, why not!) then it's worth it!!

And HM was definitely in my dream last night...very strange since apparently in my mind the DLR version is half roller coaster -is crazy- Oh and I dont think I've ever been on their version

That was so cool! The Haunted Mansion is hands down my favorite ride because my dad used to take me on it when I was little, so it was so cool reading about it... thanks so much :)

That was quite an interesting read. I have only been to the Haunted Mansion at WDW, and I never really thought about the points the made by the article. It certainly had me thinking, and the next time I go, I'll be looking for more things like that.

It is a good homage to the old south. A lot of the Liberty/Revolution was centered in the Phily/NY/Boston area but not quite all of it.
