That's the thing with Urbans, they are sometimes just design concepts and not based on anything I guess. Looks kinda like palm fronds to me. And I think those are flowers on the back heels?

Nope. But that's interesting because sometimes I CAN see tinypic images and other times I can't. But, no worries, HT_NSU did e-mail me the pics. Neat design but nothing I really would want. It is better than the solid gold chase figure.

And of course they do look a lot more like palm leaves but I just thought it would be funny :P Especially because Weeds sometimes has patterns with pot leaves and non pot leaves and this pattern really reminds me of that.

I love the chaser and love Urban 2. My favorite set so far. Great Design. I am still a bit confused by what it is, but whatever it is. I love it.

Favorite design in the series: 1/2 glass full Mickey. Simple...yet awesome.

Asa fan of green, I personally like the chaser. On the art card though, it was supposed to be far more complex. I can not take pic right now as our silly camera battery died and we are out of town, ugh.

i agree there i just like that it does stand out from the rest and you can point to it and just know its a chaser with the new one i don't feel that it stands out from the rest. more i think about it, thats really my biggest criteria. Just make the Chaser stand out from the rest.

I was trying to hold out and see if I could just pull the chaser (it has yet to happen for any series) but I broke down and saw the picture on here. My reaction was ...... eh. I don't love it, I don't hate it. It just all seemed anti-climatic after seeing the Balloon and Dalmation chasers. Maybe if I see it in person I'll love it a little more.

Bought my case at DTD today. We then went to Epcot and Mousegear had a case out with 2 already purchased from it so I told her to pick one to see if we could get the chase and have 2 full sets..

Went outside opened it and got the chase. Lucky day :happy:

I've seen every season!

I think this chaser spanks the pants off all but the Balloon. Even Pongo was a let down for me.

My ranking of chasers:

Balloon
Weeds
Gold
Pongo
White Clear

Balloon was great cause it just fit the series so well. It was Park related, to both WDW and Disneyland, and is more iconic. Gold Chaser was a let down from the stand point it was plain and we all loved the balloon one from the 1st series and were expecting greatness again. Dalmatian was good, but because it didn't reflect the parks like Balloon did again we were let down. I think this is a much better representation of Urban as it is a unique design and just fun.

Oh, and I am pretty darn happy that my suggestion of "Twist of Lime" is kicking the other 2 suggestions butts!! Thank you to everyone who voted for it!! LOL.

Balloon was the best so far. Dalmations is a good figure, but I don't like it as a chaser. Gold chaser is very disappointing. This current one is the best one since ballons, IMO.

I don't know who came up with calling it "Twist of Lime" but I love that description, pulled one today at WDW on try #23 so my record of not having to buy a full case to get the chaser remains intact.

We went down on Sunday and picked up a case just to insure that we got the chaser. Case came sealed and my daughter loved open up the boxes. Now we have extra's for trade (look on the trading board). Chaser is really great. They did a nice job in desigining this series.

Great Story: A friend of my mine was visiting from Northern California, and I got her obssessed with the fun that is Vinylmation. But in all reality, she just wanted a select few that she liked, but still liked the fun of the blind boxes. Her main goal was the Patchwork Mickey, and as she opened one of her boxes, she got the Chaser, with a really bummed look on her face. I, of course, practically screamed like a girl in the Star Trader. I explained the whole idea with the mystery chase figure, and them being rare, but she still wasn't a fan of the design of it. So I bought a box, and like fate, got Patchwork Mickey! It was a quick trade and we were both in Vinyl-heaven.

I got an email from someone that talked to Quyhn Kimball at the Artist Signing on Friday. Apparently the name of the Chaser is Green Tea Mickey, which actually makes a ton of sense. I can't believe none of us thought of that. :lol:

The artist said the inspiration was GREEN TEA, and the green is tea leaves and in the next urban series his is doing another piece that will partner this one

Yay! I was so excited, I screamed like a 5-year old girl meeting a Jonas brother! (Just ask BigAl_PT. I was on the phone with him when I opened it.) I may have even jumped up and down a little.....

^ I like the balloon chaser, too. It's really unique and interesting because its not really something official in the parks, but we all do see balloons that guests let go of, and the clear head is realy cool, plus it fits the shape perfectly.

Congrats, Annvds! The Green Tea is one of the best chaser designs, IMO; second only to balloon. I was lucky enought to pull GT blind boxed, and I think it looks better in person than the pictures. :thumbsup:
