Here's a link about a recent article in the LA Times about the cast members that work overnight at Disneyland! I work the 3rd shift at Disneyland and it's always nice to get the recognition of the hard work we do. I'm not sure how many of you know just how much goes on at night, pretty much everything that guest see and touch we clean. And I mean everything! Even though I don't get to interact with the guests I feel like the cast members an I in 3rd shift always make magic happen, we just do it after midnight of course! :pixiedust:

Here's the link, you might have to copy and paste cause I wasn't sure how to do it!

That was a great article. I had seen a special once that showed all the work that happened at night, but I had no idea how many people worked at night. Thank you for all your hard work. The park is always so clean in the morning. You all do a great job.

Thanks guys! Although cleaning isn't very glamorous I love my job and the people I work with. Plus I enjoy knowing that I help make Disneyland guest ready everyday!

thanks for the article Alley and thanks for your hard work. I definitely agree that the cleanliness of Disneyland is a reason to keep coming back (unlike 6 flags where you can see massive spider webs, ew!)

I love that there are feeding station for the kitties! (sorry, cat lover here :) ) I always wondered about that

I love seeing them! Garet and I were watching a black cat and a CM said to us, "that's jaguar"

Thanks for sharing! Disney's cleanliness is one of the best things about the parks.

I saw a cat once when I was on the Sailing Ship Columbia. It was on the old railroad tracks by the abandoned train. From what it looked like, the cats eat well.

Thank you for sharing that article. I definitely give kudos to all of the workers at Disneyland. I think the extra work that goes into the park at night is really what sets it apart from the rest. There is no feeling greater to me than standing on Main Street on a beautiful Southern California day. Having the park be clean and manicured just makes it even more special. I don't live in California anymore and I miss it dearly. Standing in Disneyland is when I really know I'm home. Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom doesn't even come close to that feeling.
