So for those of you that are interested, the NFL draft started yesterday and will continue until Saturday. Anyone have any thoughts of how Round 1 turned out? Here it is in case you missed it:

This year they changed it to a 3-day "Primetime" event

Tebow is going to cost McDaniels his job eventually. What a bust he'll be. I am a Falcons fan but I'm underwhelmed by our draft! I do like Spoon though.

Yeah, doesn't he know you have to have a QB that played in a pro offense in college like the NFL legends Jay Cutler and Matt Leinart in order to succeed????:shrug:

The plan seemed to work , the draft got higher rating then the NBA palyoffs.

Tebow is his own #1 fan and I have no respect or patience for that. :rolleyes: I'd love to see him get pummeled.

The ratings may have been higher, but I'd still prefer it on the weekends so you can have a party.

Those two players have nothing to do with Tebow. I wouldn't have drafter either of them in the first as well. Tevow is not a pro style QB. Not at all. He should have went in the 3rd round.

As a Florida State fan...I will hold my tongue when it comes to Tebow. As for Jacksonville, I'm still trying to figure out what they did. But I trust Gene Smith in his ability to find players at the smaller schools as his did last year in his first draft as the Jags GM.

Just for the record, I am not at all an LSU fan, so this has nothing to do with what school he was at. I just don't like the guy and I'm tired of the media treating him like he's some type of football God.

To be perfectly honest, the only two NCAA football teams I do like are the school I'm currently at (and they're so awful, they won't be making it into any Bowl games in the near future) and the school I got my undergad at (and that school isn't a BCS school, it's FCS).
