Hey, I've never benn to Universal Studios Hollywood but have always wanted to go. I've been to Universal Orlando so many times that I can't even count them anymore. I've always wondered how do they compare to one another?

From what I hear USF is superior in nearly every corner short of the acclaimed backlot tour of USC buuut I haven't been there myself so who knows.

USF is a lot bigger including IOA and all the hotels. USH has some very good qualities though. Jurassic Park is better there. It has two scenes unique to their version. The scene at IOA where the crate almost drops on your head is replaced with a jeep dropping down the side of the building. Also the T-Rex is above you popping out of the ceiling before you see him at the end as well. Mummy was just strange at USH. Just different. Make sure to get a view of the hills right in front of Terminator. It's very pretty! Also check out the haunted house towards the beginning of the park!

Yeah, is the Universal House of Horrors as good as a HHN house or does it just give you a jump or 2 if that.

I would say it's very good but not as intense as a HHN house as it's operating for every day guests. It has some great sets too. I remember walking through a great 'Psycho' set and they have someone dressed like mother with a knife. They have a great chucky section and Dracula. You end up walking through Frankenstein's lab where Frank and the Wolfman are. Wolfman hid and jumped out at a chinese guy in front of me and actually scared him so much he fell down. Leatherface is really cool too.

As I said it's not as intense as a HHN house but it's still good with a few scares here and there. Very good sets. The thing that is funny is that since this is at the very front of the park most people were walking into it and seemed to have no idea what it was. There were a bunch of old people in front of me and they just kind of strolled in and once they got inside and someone popped out they all started laughing.
