Hmmmm, never heard that before. I know that my wife called one of the stores and ordered me 2 3" blank figures.

I've called on several occasions and all I told them was the name of the figure I was looking for and that it was a 9".

There's no possible way for you to know a serial number for the figure unless you had it in your possesion. You could get the sku/upc #s, but again you would have to either have the item already or know somebody else who has it and get it off the label. Sure, it'd be easier for them to look up, but there's no reason for you to know that off-hand.

Sounds like you got someone who isn't too sure as to what they're doing. :rolleyes:

I'd try to call back and speak to someone else, or try a different WDW store/#. :thumbsup:

i think what we have here is a lazy cast member trying to avoid looking or searching for it and placing the order. lol
