Well, this is unexpected. Conan O'Brien is going to start a new late-night show in November on TBS, bumping George Lopez's talk show to midnight. Having never watched George Lopez's show because... well, it's George Lopez... I fully support this initiative.
Conan O'Brien moves to TBS (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/04/12/DD6N1CTGD5.DTL).

Can't say I'm a Conan fan. Jimmy Fallon has a really fun show with some great sketches and Craig Ferguson has a hilarious monologue every night so I would rather watch them any day. Conan just talks about himself and can't get through a joke without making fun of somebody.

I've never gotten past a Fallon monologue without turning it off. It's like watching someone who's heard of jokes but has never actually heard one.

Fallon tells jokes for about five minutes though and then they do sketches. He's not the best host but he's likable and the writing on the show is good.

There, I've highlighted the part of that I agree with. :D
No disrespect, to each their own. I've just never liked the guy, even going back to Saturday Night Live. Best thing I've ever seen on that show was Mark-Paul Gossaler coming on as Zack Morris. (And the only reason I saw that is because someone set me a YouTube link.)
