thanks chelsey for hooking it up. i only took a 2 hour and 15 min lunch. no one even asked why i was wearing a diffrent shirt.


im going to say either dstreets full stock is sold out or just that shipment but the manager or who ever the big guy behind the counter was said that he doesnt think they will make it tomorrow before selling out. i think youd still have a chance at aod and mk

Today at DLR went a million times better than last week. Releasing at a single store rather than 3 helps. Also Ronn made a huge difference! I hope he can be in charge of all future releases at D-Street!
Again had a great time hanging out with all the VN members! Even though eviljimmy lived up to his name and bought 20 of them, all while pushing over old ladies and stealing candy from babies. :lol:

Yes this is what a release experiance should be, plenty of stock, cast members making their presence knows, managers talking to to us, wrist bands. I hope this is how all releases will be in the future. Oh and i was able to get a space mountain as well :)

Sounds really good, I had a feeling that things might be better today because of all the uproar. So all the phone calls and emails helped. I was unsure if they would have enough to go around but people were telling me there were alot in stock. Way to go Disney, keep it up.

As everyone has already said, the release on the West Coast went very well! So glad they learned their lesson and fixed the issues from Park 4! I don't know how many Florida put out but Disneyland had 160 :yikes: So besides the fact that Jimmy took 20 of them they still had 140 for all the over people waiting in line! There should be plenty to get everyone through the weekend then they will distributed to certain stores in the parks! Thanks again for a great morning fellow Socal VN members, it was a lot of fun! :)

It was no problem, I realized last week with everyone offering to help us out that collecting is way more fun because of the members on here. Glad the timing worked out, and they still had plenty in stock!

that is definately good news, i hope all releases go just like today did, even if i end up not getting stuff it was still fun and not as stressfull as the park 4 release. GO RON!!!!

By the way Ron is the man when it comes to these releases, he was there for the urban 3 9" release and it went perfect, he isnt there for the park release and its a disastor and now he is here today and it goes awesomely. Cooincidence? I think not. I hope Ron will be there for all releases lol

A cast member at Off the Page and Disneyana said that the vinylmation paper work says late April, early May for Cutesters to be released resort wide again! :shrug:

I'm now confirming it - I went back to D-Street at WDW to make a trade for WallE around 1:00 pm, and they are now totally sold out of Sulley AND Space Mountain at this location. Since it was the only FL location for Sulley, you can assume they are gone. I also spoke with several of the CM's at D-Street, and they confirmed there were no more of either in the back. Not sure if Space may show up at other WDW locations...

That's a good question. She didn't mention how many were there at opening but she did mention that they were enforcing the 2 per person rule very strictly. Also I didn't get a call back from AOD on the wishlist for it so I'm assuming they sold through their allotment. If my cousin had been unsuccessful I'd be calling AoD right now but since she got it I'll leave them alone - I'm sure Debbie has had her hands full with this one.

The lady working said they got 110 in on Friday and sold out of them that day. Then they received another 80 for Saturday. She also said that someone released them at MK on Friday when they weren't supposed to (don't know how many or if they sold out), but the head of VM was pissed about it.
