View Full Version : Question For Anyone Heading To The Parks!

Hello VN members!

I was recently checking the Disney Store website and they are no longer selling the Spaceship Earth Monorail Playset! :cry: I was going to buy it for my cousin for his birthday but don't know if it is still available!

Here is an ebay listing so you can see what it looks like....

If at all possible, would anyone going to any of the Walt Disney World theme parks or Downtown Disney be able to check and see if they still sell them? They usually put them with the monorails! The stores I remember seeing them at last time I was in Florida were, Mousegears, Once Upon A Toy Store, Emporium, and World Of Disney among other stores! I would buy them here at Disneyland but we no longer sell the playset just the monorail! Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I checked in the shop at Contemporary, and they didnt have any :( I asked a CM and they said if they had one it'd be out...but we know how the CMs are.

i was just at wdw last week and bought the playset for my husband.. the really big kid. i got it at mousegears at epcot. i know i saw it somewhere else, but just can't remember where. hope that helps!

merchandising might could patch you through to them. i had to do that once to the shop in mexico.

Thanks sammy! Guess I will have to call them because WDW mail order said they were not available anymore! I thought mail order worked based on what was available resort wide, not just the warehouse unless they changed how it works, but who knows! :shrug:

Have another question for members close to WDW! Did anyone happen to see if they still sell the Contemporary Hotel Playset for the monorail? It is usually sitting next to the monorail boxes along with the extra track and figures! Here is a picture of what it looks like....

Oh then you could go to D-Street and AOD and tell me what vinyls they have, then go to World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy Store and tell me what monorail stuff they have! Good :idea: HHGFG!

I know you can get ahold of fantasia gift shop @ Contemporary from the switch boards.
You can get mousegears too but its a major PITA when i tried with Cindy/Wall-e
