I was asked a few questions about Haunted Mansion about something and I thought I would post this up.

1. Do you think they changed the story of Haunted Mansion?
Yes I feel like they did change the story.

2. The carriage doesn't disappear anymore.
I haven't seen it disappear in quite a while honestly, but then again, I am usually not there during sundown anymore.

3. Where did the ring go?
The ring was taken off after they changed it up and changed the story. I am truely sad it's gone, I miss looking at it when I walk out.

4. Mr. Toad display?
Yes, it's been there for a while, in the Pet Cemetery that many guests walk by when they exit the ride.

Now I am not a Haunted Mansion Specialists, but I am a huge fan of it and notice a lot of things from time to time.

What's this about the carriage disappearing? I've never seen it disappear.

The ring was actually a piece of an old gate that was sawed off down to the grown and coincidentally looked like a ring... sorta. If you looked at it in person you could see it was way too small for an adult woman.

back then, the carriage would be there, and at night time, it wouldn't be there at times. when i didn't see it there once, i asked a cast member, where's the carriage? and he cleverly responded, "what carriage? it's always there and smiled" and another cast member responded, "the banshee takes it away at night." and as for the ring, i wouldn't go against it being sawed off, but if it's sawed off, then they did a great job putting it a diamond look-alike. if i can find the pictures of it, then i will show you all sometime. when i asked cast members back then about the ring, it's the same story about the bride running away and dropping/leaving the ring behind.

That part isn't a diamond though. Hard to tell in this picture, but it was actually just steal, like the rest of the "ring".

yeah i know i'm not against it, just saying, the story of many cast members. leading to the ring. it also makes sense to take out the ring now because the way it looks like in the ride now, it's as if the bride is killing all. also, some FYI, the ghost stories were created by CM's, each ghost in there has it's own story. i'm sure many of u knew already

They got rid of the "ring" because it too often caused a backup at the ride's exit and was accidental to begin with. I asked one the Mansion's managers myself, haha.

it works well imo too with the story, if u notice her finger, she is wearing the ring, the other one doesn't show her wearing a ring.

as for the carriage, i'm assuming they stopped doing it because the line packs up now and i always took a guess that they would hide it where the old haunted mansion store used to be. i will keep looking for pictures to try and show you all about how at night time, they disappear from time to time. they don't do it now after revamped, but they did it before it.
