Does anyone know if they still distribute wristbands to the resort guests for EMH? Because I haven't seen them do that in a while and I was just wondering how they differentiated between the WDW resort guests and ones that weren't.
I could have sworn that I heard they don't do the wristbands anymore...

I know in Nov when we did the Extra magic hrs we needed to show our room key and if you didn't you could not go on the rides

thats weird Disneyland just opens their park up early just for hotel guests. all you do is show your specail pass along with your ticket to the park and your in! way easier i think than doing it at night in busy MK

Hmmm. I guess that's all they're doing then.
Wish I knew someone who worked in the hotels.
And cbisson, we have morning EMH as well. But the do evenings too. Its not every day though.

Definitely no wristbands anymore. Allie's correct about how they do it now - you basically have to show your Room Key/Key to the World card when you want to get on every ride. It's a huge PITA, and easily "cheatable" because the CM's never look at the actual dates on your card. When we went in December, we had friends who lived locally with AP's, and since we'd changed resorts halfway through our trip, we just let them use our old key cards's for EMH's. Worked every time (*note, I do not actually advocate, nor suggest anyone do this. I'm just sayin'...it works.). The old way, you had to scan your card to get a wristband, which would immediately tell the distributor if you were a "current" guest or not. I'm not sure why they did away with that method, but...whatevs!

Well MK isn't having any EMH on Saturday... and DHS isn't having EMH on Sunday.
DHS has morning EMH on Saturday and then MK has evening EMH on Sunday.

It does get aggravating having to pull out your key card everytime you wanted to get on an attraction. I seriously thought about grabbing a lanyard to hold my key card. That makes it much easier. I highly recommend this to anyone that will be partaking in the nighttime EMH.

You're right - this is a great idea. I think some of the pin lanyards come with the plastic holders on the bottom that you can put your key card into.

I loved the wristbands. I used to wear them for a while since they were made from a nice plastic
