Vinylmation Mystery Pin Collection - Park 4 Date Announced For WDW

It was posted today on www.odpt.com that the Vinylmation Mystery Pin Collection - Park 4 would be released at WDW on March 4th. This series is a Limited Release and each box contains 2 Park 4 styles and retails for $16.

The pins in this series are:


Epcot Flags
Goofy
Monorail Green
Nemo Submarine
Sulley
Boo
POTC Dog w/ Keys
Spectro Magic Mickey
Peter Pan's Flight
Cheetah from IASW

No release date has been announced as yet as to when this collection will be available at Disneyland.

I actually like this set of pins almost as much as I liked Park 1. Guess ill have to wait til Disneyland releases theirs.

I was told at the 1/22 event by TWO different people that they were going to try and release these as CLOSE as they could to the Park 4... so I'd say we're close!

I know, its a task to find them. I was surprised the hotel gift shops had a lot the last time I was there!

Luckily they announce all 10 pins and the chaser is not included this time so we will have to wait in suspense for the actual Park 4 vinyls to be released!!

ok thats good to know because that ruined all the fun last time when Urban 3 pins came out before the Vinyls!

ODPT.com updated the site again. Vinylmation Mystery Pin Collection for Park 4 will also be released on March 4th at the Disneyland Resort.

I'll try to get my hands on some of these as well. With pins I mostly have decided to not buy them on ebay anymore unless it's an abosolute must have for me and the price is within reason to the actual retail price and I will still purchase a few when I actually visit the parks to remind me of my trip there.

2nd that, i hate when they show the chaser so early. I loved the park series 3 release that was a crazy release day, I was refreshing vinylnation.net every 5 min waiting for the first pic of the chaser to pop up.

I just noticed that the initial post said that the packs of 2 will retail for $16...isn't this a price increase? Correct me if i'm wrong, but I thought that the Vinylmation pin packs were selling for $12 for prior series.

The site says

so nope, no increase

When I initially posted the information this set was listed as a "Limited Release" set, which the Urban 2 and Urban 3 and Holiday 1 were, and all retailed for $16.00. They have since changed it to an open edition series and those are always $12l.95.

Have the pins always released before the vinyls? Does anybody remember about how long it was after the pins came out, the vinyls showed up?

EDIT: According to the site, Park Series 3 pins were released September 19th and the vinyls weren't released until November 20th :yikes: I hope we don't have to wait that long again!

The pins have varied. The first series was released in Summer 2008, and Vinylmation itself didn't debut until that December. No one knew what the pin designs really were till the vinyls came out. Once Vinylmation took off they kind of hurried to put the pins out and a bunch of them all came with in a month of 2 of each other. Now they have been more spaced out. Park 4 is due out 3/4/10 for the pins, but no date other them March 2010 has been announced for the vinyls. They try to time them to be around each other but since they are different vendors that doesn't always happen.

im going on 3/8/10 so I hope that the vinyls will be released by then..they released muppets at wdw feb 8th so hopefully ill be able to get some

Man this is tough when you like both the pins and figures. Too many goodies and too little cash. Even so, glad to hear particulars on Park 4 since the Park series are my favorites. Nice! :)

When I bought my Park 3 pins, they were $12, not $12.95.

And I sighted Park 4 pins today at Mouse Gear, go get em!
