I definitely love the artwork for the packaging!!! Gotta have a case just for that. And I really hope they do a poster too!!

Definitely true, I've learned that Sterilite tubes and a garage are the best way to store all these boxes. :lol:

My sister and I are fighting over who gets to keep the tray now... Do you think its possible that Disney would give us an empty tray if they finish selling a whole box at the Park?

I really think the packaging is great! It will be nice to see more variation as sets other than Park and Urban are released!

Ive heard it go both ways nimini. Ive seen a kid buy the last park 2 and he got to keep the case. Ive also seen someone buy the last one and have been refused.

Shhhh....if the Disney team finds out they may delay the release to correct it or scrap it altogether! Move along, nothing to see here.

For this error, I doubt they will since it is on the packaging and not a big deal. Some pins, though, were delivered to the park with an error and pulled off the shelves after Disney found the error never to be seen again and with a corrected version to never be seen either. Some of those, of course, are super valuable now because they may really be a LE of 10 or 20

That is how I got this one actually. :lol: They aren't going to dump a box out to allow you to take it, but if you buy the remaining figures (if there are only a couple left) you can ask if you can have it. There really is no reason for them to tell you know if one is empty. They throw them out anyway.

Also, I wanted to point out that while Monty Maldovan did the designs for the figures, Quynh Kimball did the design for the packaging.

It's the best box yet, you have to MAKE IT FIT, LOL

but on a serious not you should be able to fit it on your carry on, i know i was able to fit 4 9" figures on my carry on.

A++ job to the both of them :thumbsup:. They both did one heck of a job.

Solid series across the board, accompanied by the best overall case design:happy:

Sledge since you were able to get some could you or Mouseman tell us if the cards were sealed inside the foil? I really hope they are cause it kind of ruins the surprise :)

They are inside the foil, but they weren't in a plastic cover inside the foil.

Also, these boxes are TOUGH to open. They are glue down incredibly well.

Unless that case was a freak glue accident, there will be NO peaking what so ever!! Literally had to rip the tops off to get them open. This new glue is the ultimate in peaking prevention.

Love it! So glad they didn't use the red curtain design. I got so sick of that on every Muppet item I bought during The Muppet Show 25th Anniversary. :lol:

That packaging is awesome. Should definitely stand out in comparision to the park/urban boxes. (Which I can never tell apart without getting right up close)

I agree. Sure the text is different colors, but you can't be sure that there aren't a few Parks mixed in with Urban boxes and vice-versa. There should be no confusion with the Muppet figures.

I have 4 Urban 1's because they were accidentally grabbed rather than Park 1's because they looks so similar. I'm certain one of the other Park 1's would have been a balloon chaser :)

I don't think Urban 1 and Park 1 were ever on the shelf at the same time. Park 1 at WDW had long sold out before Urban 1 arrived in late March 2009. That could be why you thought you had grabbed the wrong ones. Likewise Urban 1 was long sold out before Park 2 arrived in stores. The first time more then 1 series sat side by side on the shelf was in July when Clear 1 and Urban 2 were released and Park 2 was still available.

The interesting part is my parents got both series at the same time. It was sometime in late February or early March, I think in Animal Kingdom. I thought I was going to have all Park 1 but there were 4 urban 1's. I really think the Urban 1's were out before they were released, but I'm not sure on that. If I ever find the receipt I'll have to study it more closely, but I'm almost positive they got them the same day, maybe even in the same store. They were specifically making sure there was a Creepy Wallpaper and a Figmouse there before they stopped buying them, since those are the two I "needed." I wish I had just purchased a case of Park 1, oh the regrets.

No they were DEFINITELY sold out by the time Urban 1 came out, unless your parents got really lucky.

I really like how the recent series have more creative packaging. Cutesters were great and Muppets packaging looks amazing :D

I like the packaging also.
I am not a fan of the Artist cards not being in the plastic anymore though,It seems like most of the cards were bent where I've never had that in the other sets because of the plastic I guess
