So ive been experimenting with my old air brush. I use to do some pearlesent paint jobs on custom model cars back in the day. So I mixed up some silver flake and gold lacquer to make this candy gold paint job. Im thinking that I might do a whole series of "Candy" colors. Im working on some others right now. Enjoy.

Very cool - I wondered if someone would try to replicate the Gold chaser at some point - it's much cooler in 9"!

Very nice!

I'm actually making my own 3" gold chaser-type thing. But it's a bit different (i know that sounds strange, how different can it be. But you'll see)

Thanks Sledge, I have this one for sale for $68 shipped if you are interested. I thought about selling it for more because of the materials and labor involved. Let me know, I have it on ebay right now, I just would like to sell it to make a couple more. Let me know asap. Thanks.

This is really cool! I love that smooth metallic "car" look it's got. You should do a "car" series like this and add racing stripes!

Looks great! The fact that it's a 9" reminds me of the Oscars  Imagine winning one of these instead!
I like the shiny coat. Is that what you mean by candy? You should do a 3" M & M series with the shiny hard candy shell :)

And on a side note, I've always been suspicious of Gold chasers selling online. People make counterfeit pins, an all gold VM wouldn't be hard.

This is one reason I will never make a 3" gold figure, this could reproduced with ease. The only thing that people should watch out for is the bottom of the feet which would be harder to reproduce.

*Do if you are buying a gold chaser, demand bottom of the feet photos.
