Best paints to use on a Custom? Markers?

Just wondering what everyone thought the best paints to use on a 3inch Vinyl would be? I was thinking maybe some MARKERS might be the way to go, because you could have more control.

Or color them a base color and then markers?

What do you guys use?

there are now create your own vinyls sold in base colors.

also i heard the best paint are acrylic paints.

I personally use the Apple Barn acrylics. They're pretty cheap, but a good quality. I haven't tried to use markers myself, but I know other people have had problems with markers bleeding.
