Yea how does the Disney College program work? My partner got a call for that and they told him he would know if he accepted in 3-4 weeks. I am just curious how this whole thing works it kind of new to us; I think it would be a great opportunity for him, any advice?

Some of the board members here did it too, so if there's anything specific you can't find on the site, feel free to ask. In broad terms, it's a job in the parks or resorts that allows you to live close to property at a low rent rate and take some course credit for school at the same time as working. Just a neat experience overall if you get a good position.

Thanks for the information !! So my next question is, any members on here who have done this program what are your thoughts? Did you enjoy it? Was it worth the time and money spent?

Ummm, where to begin. I was on the Disney College Program on several different occasions. 08/05-01/06, then I went home to finish college, then from 05/06-08/06, then I extend until 01/07, then I extended AGAIN until 05/07. I had so much fun on this program. I worked at Mission Space, Splash Mountain, and Playhouse Disney. Be prepared to work late nights though. As a CP, we always closed rides or attractions, mostly always worked on Holidays, and living is STRICT. If you are caught with a beer under 21, you are fired and sent home. You can only have a certain amount of people in your APT at a time, things like that!! But c'mon, you get to work for DISNEY!!! And besides, it allowed to to discover my inner obsession.....ANYTHING DISNEY!!! So yeah, overall, it's fun as long as you don't mind a few rules.
