has anyone actually seen a movie at DTD? how are the seats? big screens or small?

I've seen a couple of movies there. I personally really like the theater and the screen seemed big to me (I say that, because I'm not a movies expert or anything :lol: )

My only suggestion is eat before going because snacks are expensive

I know, saying something at disneyland is expensive is like saying an orange is orange, but the food just really isn't worth what they ask for.

But overall, I really enjoy seeing movies at disneyland. Then you can go to the park right afterwards. Good times... :)

I love that movie theater, it just seems really nice and the matinee is only $6.00 (it's only like a dollar more where I live, but still, haha). My friend and I try to get a bucket of popcorn in the park and bring it in for the movie so we don't have to pay for it there. :D

I like the movie theatre, I usually will go into the park in the morning then go to the movies in the afternoon. But I park in the Mickey and Friends parking lot, so I don't have to worry about the time. Although, you get 3 hours free, plus 2 more if you get your parking ticket validated at the Movies.

If you go often enough, I would recommend their MovieWatchers card. Every Wednesday you automatically get free popcorn (small size but you can upgrade for $1 or $2). Also every 10 points, you get other freebies like a soda, movie or free night which includes drink, popcorn and ticket.

I saw a movie there once, and really enjoyed it. The seats were fine and the screen was large.

The theater at GardenWalk was also pretty nifty. I saw a movie there once. The draw for me was they had beer and other adult drinks, and leather recliners. It was comfortable, but expensive

I saw G.I. Joe there in early 2010, the theater was wayyyy nice, can't wait to see TS3 while I'm there in July!

My husband and I saw Halloween there (of all the movies!) and it was a huge theatre! Nice screens! Highly recommended.

I love that theatre me and my wife have a tradition on the last day of every trip we make down we hang out at downtown Disney and catch a flick. The seats are awesome and that theatre is immaculate.

I watched NBC in 3d there and it was a really nice theater.

:pixiedust:Its a nice theater. They do have big screens and some small. When I go there to see a movie I ask what theater it is in. The only thing I don't like is on a weekend the parking is crazy.:yikes: But there are a lot of cool shops there and nice places to eat.:yum:

Never seen a movie at the AMC in DTD...When I'm in DTD I'm normally headed back to the parks! haha but i will certainly have to try it out soon!
