Here are my first four Vinylmation customs......

The first is just a simple Robot Mickey

Then Jason Voorhees, I got the machette from a toy at Big Lots

Third is Azrael, the Angel of Death, he took over the body of Mickey Mouse. The guns came from some Marine action figures at Big Lots.

I still have 2 blank 3" and 1 blank 9"...the 9" will be Boba Fett

Those all came out great! I really like the robot Mickey. Does the Angel of Death Mickey have a hole in his ear, or is that just paint?

Great idea using cheap big lot toys for accessories. I may have to steal that one in the future!

Dumble- my art is based mostly on Robots, Zombies, Aliens and other weird items such as Killer Cupcakes and Sunflowers. So I do'nt know if I would do a "normal" Mickey lol
HT- Yeah they are holes..drill bits go through like butter! I started a box of accessories that just got bigger with a purchase of 5 Munnys yesterday!

Great job! I really like how "distressed" they look (as in jeans, not as in freaking out). Basically, I like how they're not so polished, yet the attention to detail is phenomenal. Way to go! :clap:

From the looks of it, he did a black base coat, and then applied the colors he wanted 'dirty' or 'distressed' and used a clean brush or rag to thin out and remove some of the color before it set. Colors were also probably thinned out with water first.

I love the look of all of these, can't wait to see more!

Azrael had a black base coat, minus the gloves. The other colors were just lightly brushed on 2 coats max. Then I added some black paint with a great versatile brush that I have. I add paint and wipe a little of with my thumb.

Zombie Mickey didn't get a base coat just colored low lights with my versatile brush. I also add some dots and spray some paint, by flicking the brush bristles with my finger.

Nice work! Robot Mickey pales in comparison to the others. I'm not saying that he isn't well done. He just seems plain compared to the other ones. I also enjoyed your other artwork as well. Can't wait to see more. Maybe you should try a Hellraiser themed Mickey. Think about it.

All 4 look really good. your robot mickey reminds me of metal mario from super smash bros the video game. i like how you made the vinyls look old and dirty with like the brown and white smears. i dont know how to describe it. but they look awesome.

great job on the vinyls. everyone is so good at making customs except for me, i can never get any of them to come out half as good as the ones i have seen here. good work, keep it up looking forward to seeing more.
